Absolutely BRILLIANT
The media could not be loaded. I’ll start by saying I never ever leave reviews. Good or bad - I’m lazy! However I can’t not leave a brilliant review for this fire. For the price, this has made my new living room feel super boujee! Its sleek, curved design is stunning, the log effect is perfect, the flame effects look real and it actually throws our real heat. It’s easy to use, the colours behind the fire look amazing and can be dimmed down slightly. I’ve just completely renovated 80% of my whole house and this is my favourite part.Easy to fit - would suggest using a supporting baton behind the fire into wherever you’re putting this as it is a little heavy to be putting onto fresh plaster.Overall, can’t recommend this enough for the price, it’s absolutely gorgeous!!

Enhancements galore - SUPERB fire!!
Like everyone else I read many reviews when I was trying to decide which fire to invest in. The price scared me as I'm on a very low fixed income, but I looked on it as a future-proof investment for my living room. And having just got it fitted today I'm overjoyed. It was a very simple bracket fix (no need for the expensive extra bracket I'd gone & bought with it) and as soon as it was switched on, the magic began. it's a good solid fire that mounts on the wall and has downward heat flow so isn't going to damage any mirrors or paintings etc above it. The front glass has a slight curvature to it which makes it look even more stunning.Compared to many others I've seen, I think this one has the most realistic wood & flame effect and it's trebly enhanced by the fact that you can dim the flames right down so it looks like a "simmering" fire rather than a roaring one! With the remote control it's ridicously easy to get it looking and feeling just as you want it as the controls operate each separate function in a cyclical manner e.g. there isn't an up and down setting but rather you start at say 16 degrees for the heat and then keep pressing the button up to the max temp and then back to 16 again. It's about the only tiny irritation I had.And of course the LED lights add to the whole glitz effect - again enhanced by the fact that each of the colours can be low or high in intensity and with so many colours to choose (12) from you can make the fire match the colour of your room or wallpaper as I did or change the lighting to suit the mood. The red in particular does again enhance the fire effect itself;Yes, this fire is somewhat dearer than some others and maybe even than some with similar effects, BUT I think this one wins for the entire package - seller and item - are trustworthhy and quality. Seriously. if you're looking for a good looking large fire with plenty of features but solid in quality etc, then this is the one to get!! Can't recommend it highly enough!

Gorgeous Electric Fire.
Really like my new fire. It's very well made and quite easy to assemble, although you need 2 people, just for lifting and positioning,if you are a girl like me who isn't that strong, but the actual assembly is straightforward. It comes with 14 mood colours and 3 flame settings and the glass front (in white), looks great, the heater part is good too, doesn't make much noise and heats up the room quickly. I think it's very well priced for what you get and I would recommend it if you are looking for an electric fire, because it makes your room look very cosy.

Great focal point but nothing is perfect and this is why
The media could not be loaded. Easiness to install relates to how quickly it can be done, how simple it is to do, and the equipment required to do it: The fireplace installation requires a drill and a leveller/spirit level, tools I do not personally have handy. It is easy and quick to install provided you have and know how to use these tools. The process is simple once you realise that the wall-mounting brackets are hooked on the back of the firebox (so you don't look for them for too long lol), have the tools and know how to use them. I had my handyman put it up because he had the tools and because I could not be in the noisy room when it was being mounted. Then I completed the work: put the pebbles in with some doubts as it is a little finicky to put it in the space given and click the front in place (he helped me on that one but i reckoned if you are feeling well enough, you can do it on your own.The Remote control is a little treasure once you work it out. It looks intuitive enough until you need the instructions to differentiate left/right arrows from +/- buttons. You also need to have the firebox switch on ON (on the side of the firebox) to operate the remote. No one in these comments, questions or reviews seemed to have issues with opening the remote to put the AA batteries (with which it thankfully comes) but it took me some time to work out that my attempts to slide it down were justified. You see, when you are not sure, you don't want to break the product, so you don't insist nearly as much as you could. The result is lovely. Great choices of lights but not super bright, just ambiance kind of lights. The fire effects are good too (there even seem to be twig effects from up close). The only thing for me is that when the fire or worse the ventilation are on, there is a background noise which I like to call a moan. Most people can take it and would probably have music or TV higher on, but I am just hypersensitive.Once you know how to use the remote (defnitely check the manual, very useful indeed), you can set your temperature. It gives you the current room temperature and the one you are aiming for until they are equal. My only reproach there is that it does not let me go under 17 degrees celsius (my personal ideal temperature is about 15-16). I love that you can get the heat to circulate and all that.In the beginning (when you first set it to be warmer, in normal mode), there will be a relatively nasty burning smell (by my standards) but this is probably so for every new equipment. It soon disappears (within minutes actually). So all in all, price, easiness, variety, effectiveness (it does indeed warm the room well and relatively quickly too), I'd say 7.5/10 because it is truly practical and gorgeous. What would give it more points? If it were as easy to install without specialist tools, if it didn't "moan", if it allowed me to go below 17 degrees, if the remote battery panel slid with more ease and if it were the same price as the black one (can't see why it is more expensive, even by 5 pounds). Ah, the worlds I could build with ifs.
