Stopped working after using it twice for less than 2 hours

Let's me grow a plant at my dark office desk
I work in an office, and my desk is far enough from the nearest window that plants wont go, so I thought I'd give one of these a go. I plug it into my monitor's USB socket for power - this way it switches itself off at the end of the day when I go home, so my plant gets 8 hours of light a day.I have it clipped into the back of my monitor, and the goose necks allow me to point the light where it's needed.So far I'm pleased with it as it seems to be well made. It's a bit early to rate it's effectiveness as a gro light, but I have no reason to doubt it. I'll report back after a few months if it doesn't seem to be working as advertised.
