Takes 3 min to get it warm enoigh in the microwave, and it holds the heat for about half an hour. Nice that it has a good weight, it really makes a difference.

I purchased this for my husband who, since his last two strokes, always seems to be cold on his right side. His hand and arm are especially cold so I thought since this is 26" long we could warm it in the microwave and wrap his hand & arm. It works perfectly and retains the heat for quite a while before needing to be re-heated. My husband is very satisfied.

I'm caregiver for my mom, 81, who has bad osteoporosis and arthritis. Also early dementia, which makes her sensitive to cold especially. Heating this up for her makes her so happy. I drape it around her neck and she says, "oh, that's so nice" every time. While it's heavy, when it's on, the weight is distributed evenly and it's comfortable. Don't over heat it - it can get a bit too hot. But if you do, just let it sit open for a few minutes to cool a little. I find 2.5 minutes in the micro is just right. Mom often falls asleep with it. She's used it on her knees, too. Anything to help her is great, and she really enjoys this item. She also loves purple, so that worked out well! It does have a very slight herbal scent to it - very slight. Mom is sensitive to odors and will mention when something bothers her, but this does not, so I wouldn't worry about the smell. It did dissipate quickly after the first few uses but you can still notice it a little. Nothing I'd be concerned with. The fabric is soft and comfortable.

Great product for any sore areas. My neck gets so sore and achy and this heat or cold pad helps so much when I’m in pain. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs relief from neck pain. The material is really soft and comfortable and it fits nicely around any size neck. My husband and I both use it all the time! May need to buy a second one!

I haven't tried heating it yet, but it sure helped when it was hot out. It only took about half an hour to cool in the freezer and lasted long enough to cool me down. It's long and drapes around your neck nicely.

Work decent. It has an oder. I would wash before using. Heats nicely.

I love and hate it. I received it yesterday afternoon, used it twice and by the third time I warmed it up I found the hole. It warms up easy and nice and feels amazing but has an odor. Product also does not have the label as shown in the pictures for purchasing. It’s really been helping my neck and head pain but I’m super disappointed too.

I know most of the people they using it for neck or shoulder pain but I use it for sore throat for some reason I always get sore throat and I warm it up and put it around my throat and helps 💯
