I initially had some problems because no instructions were included with the guards. (I did find instructions for the boiling method in the questions and answers section.) I kept looking for a 'Sleep Peachy' video on how to shape them, too, but couldn't find one. I think I made things even worse because I first tried shaping a guard to my lower teeth (as that's how a dentist 20 years ago had done it). I honestly don't think this is made to be used on the lower teeth because it felt so bulky, pushed on and rolled my gums back (making them super sore), and had my jaw clicking in the morning. Took some work, but I managed to reshape one of the guards to my upper teeth, and what a difference. It still feels bulky (not going to lie), though less bulky, and you'll look like a football player with it in, but it feels sooo much better fitted to my upper teeth. It doesn't push up on my gums. Gums aren't sore at all. And no jaw clicking in the morning. My advice is to fit this to your UPPER teeth. Make sure you CENTER it when shaping it. Also, to wear it RELIGIOUSLY when you are sleeping. If you saw the damage grinding has done to my teeth, you would know why I sooo regret not wearing the guard a dentist had made for me 20 years ago. My teeth are sawed across, some chipped, because I didn't realize the damage I was seeing back then was only the beginning. You WILL get used to this. Just give it some time. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Though this guard is more 'pliable' than a guard made by a dentist, price is much better compared to what a dentist would charge. Seems like it'll last a while (you get two), but only time will tell. At least I know my HARD grinding won't cause my teeth to wear, chip, and shift any further. Yes. They've shifted because I grind my teeth sooo hard, I rock my teeth back and forth. Customer service is awesome, too. They really cared about the problems I was having. Very pleasant to work with. I would purchase from them again.

It was easy to get this fitted, or so I thought. The first tray I used, one of my front teeth would be sore in the morning exactly the same feeling as when I used to use Invisalign. This thing was shifting my teeth. My assumption was a bit too hard, because unlike others guards, this one does an impression of top and bottom on the same guard. My guess is some of the material squished in such a way to put pressure on my teeth. I decided to try the second one and not bite as hard. My second try resulted in worse TMJ symptoms (the worst they’ve ever been). I decided to pay for one from my dentist after this, but for any one looking for a cheaper over the counter option, I highly recommend looking for one that uses a tray when you make the impression (so it only forms to your top teeth not top and bottom) to prevent the issues this one has. I love this so far, it takes a bit of getting used too if you have not worn a mouth guard before. I have been wearing it a couple hours at a time to get used to it! Overall warming it up and molding it super easy and you can remold the same mouth guard more than once! (Which is awesome for first time users) stays in place over night and comfortable. It is a little snug once the mold hardens again personally I like it as it’s like a Hug on your teeth. I do find myself gagging if I try to talk with it though.

Love this product! Coming from a dental assistant who meant to get one from my last office and forgot. So, I thought I would try a boil and bite method in a cute color! I was a little skeptical reading the review but I think its user error. In the office when we fit mouthguards, we go to the coffee maker and get STEAMING water out, not a rolling boil. Also, mouth size depends on many factors factors. I'm tall (5’7) with a big head and this one fit me fine, I trimmed and burned the edges with a lighter to put less material on the pallette and reduce gagging (that's why it looks darker in the back). However, if you're much taller or have a wider arch than me you might want to use a different product with a larger arch. Also like reviews said make sure you have seen your dentist recently and ask a professional questions about any restorations you have, but I never felt right quoting patients hundreds when the materials cost a fraction. There is a lot of science behind jaw movement and cavities, so if you haven't seen a dentist in awhile, a check up might be good and ask them questions (to make sure nothing comes out). The material did bend to fit my wider arch but I don't see it realistically bending more. For the price its definitely worth a try if you're interested! I will be buying again if my dog gets ahold of it.

It's okay. I think it's a bit bulky around the gum line which makes it a bit uncomfortable and bothersome. It does like, suction cup around your teeth. I don't know if it's this specific product or if it's just a thing that happens when you wear stuff around your teeth like that, but my gums are always a bit swelled up when removed in the morning. Not painful, but annoying. So the instructions say to microwave with a wet paper towel inside it and I followed it to a T with great results. It wasn't super hot during the molding process and the paper towel really does make sure the sides don't cave in. I had to cut the ends down because it was really bothering the back of my teeth and mouth. Which was pretty easy to do. I didn't have to warm it to cut it. All in all, not a terrible choice by any means. Definitely cheaper than dentist ones (my dentist priced me at $400!) Its definitely worth it to keep my teeth from getting more damage. I waited too long before I got a grind guard and now I'm starting to get tooth sensitivity because the inner nerve is almost exposed. It's really a preference thing when it comes to these kinds of products. It's definitely not a bad one and you may find you really like this one compared to others.

It’s thin but large in general, I found it really uncomfortable and ended up buying a different one. It says you can trim it with scissors but I tried that and it’s hard to do and ended up uneven and jagged. I would recommend it.
