I bought two cans and one is clearly too old to use and hard as a rock. Terrible quality control. And judging by the other reviews, this happens very often. Would not recommend

This matte pomade is simply amazing! Like many others I have spent time and good money on many matte products - that have failed to live up to the hype... I was sceptical, not being familiar with Reuzel and only initially bought the 35g tin to try it out, but happy to advise others that it surpasses all my expectations and the next purchase will be the larger tin.Hold is fairly strong and allows hair be restyled throughout the day whilst having a natural looking matte finish. Perfect for my style which is short back and sides with medium length on top swept to the side.Not much product is required to get the desired look, so although expensive - it will last and therefore good value.

I bought the tin at the top of the photo in February of 2023, and the one at the bottom in June 2023. Other than the gorgeous mint/vanilla smell, it's different in every possible way.The older tin had dried up and shrunk when I got it, but a quick blast with a hairdryer sorted it out. I much prefer this product to the new one.The new one is thinner, almost like a cream than a clay, it doesn't hold as well, and I have to use twice as much to style my medium-length faux hawk.It's still a good product, but it's a classic case of 'if it ain't broke...' for me.

I have thick hair and I'm always told to go for strong hold clays but always find they make my hair to clumpy, however this product which is a mix of wax and clay is perfect for my hair, it gives the hold along with being able to rework it if it does drop and it gives my hair the separation instead of clumpy it like normal clays

Bought on the recommendation of my sons barber. He used an industrial size tin for his clients. Nice and tacky, matt finish, fire it into just washed and dried hair for a nice look.

Don't buy 35g.The Reuzel clay is really good. The best I have found. But I have ordered 35g ones twice now from Amazon and both times the clay has been dried out and unusable. I haven't had this problem with the larger sized pots.
