Character Uk Teletubbies 8 Inch Talking Dipsy Soft Toy, Green

We have got all of the 4 tubbies for our granddaughter and they are still in great condition and working order after months of constant abuse from her. I would definitely recommend this toy to any baby as there is no loose parts on the outside for them to choke on and the battery/voice pack is securely fixed inside of the toy. The toy is very easy to operate and even a very young hand is enough to make them speak. 10 /10 from me

Whereas some stores (catalogue stores on the high street) will provide an 'assorted character' even if you order one in particular, Amazon truly do distinguish between the four teletubbies - when you have a little one with an affection for Dipsy this makes all the difference!The toy is well made, safe to use for young children (18 months +) and when the tummy is pressed says one of several phrases. There are just enough of these that the toy is not too annoying for parents, however it could do with a few more! Also, although some of the phrases are clear and from the television show ('Big Hug', etc) - there are a few which I can't quite make out. Overall I'm pleased with the phrases, but it falls short of perfection.The toy comes with batteries included, which is useful as it is ready immediately out of the box. The toy is soft and cuddly and the perfect size for a toddler to carry round (note that previous incarnations - from the last time teletubbies were popular - have had a trippy psychedelic version of the 'tele' in the tummy however this version is plan grey fabric).Overall I'd recommend these for any parent with a child who loves the teletubbies - just make sure you get the right one!
