Beautiful bright colours
I was pretty new to using India ink when I got these, so it felt like quite a leap to get the big set. I wasn’t disappointed though. They would make a beautiful gift, as they are presented so nicely in the packaging too.The colours are vivid and have been fun to use either neat, out of the jar, or diluted with water in refillable pens. I like that these have a dropper and worth paying a bit extra for as it’s very handy.Only downside I’ve found is that the ink has a sheen to it, so if you’ve used it undiluted, it’s not always easy to add colour pencil or pen over the top. If you’re not sure you’ll use them and are totally new to India inks, it might be a good idea to try different types of inks/watercolours before splurging on a big set.

Excellent Inks I was on the fence with these
Very rich pigment I was on the fence with these because For such a small bottle To the price But I decided to purchase them They mix very well together to make new colours they last a long time because you only need a few drops and you can Mix with water to get different tinting strengths excellent will buy again

Intense Colour!
These inks really are a pleasure to work with, intensely colourful and smooth to work with they really do inject a massive dose of colour into my work and take it to the “next Level” -if you have the money available I would definitely advise that you get both sets .

Lovely inks
I love these inks, they're lovely to work with. The white one does get a bit glopy so you have to shake it before use. The brown ink had leaked a bit when I got it, but that's not a fuss. The pigment is strong too.

Good ink-y gift !
Gift for my arty daughter and she's enjoying them. To be honest I don't know about thickness of otherwise, but she's had nothing negative to say about them so ......

Beautiful inks. Great quality
Beautiful inks. Great quality, highly pigmented. Note of caution: hard to wash off with just water from my nib. Us a toothbrush to get it off. Also, easily smudged so wait awhile for it to dry.

Takes time to get to know them
Review edited to add one more star as with use, the white dropper began functioning. I have also bought a set of plastic spray bottles, filled with half an inch of pure IPA alcohol and put a drop or two of ink in each to create new hues or spray them to create backgrounds I try to be fair in my reviews, but there are two things that disappointed me in this set. One is how hard the caps are to screw back on. They never seem to go back on level! Which means if I am not careful, the ink will spill and/or dry. Two is the white ink which has a malfunctioning dropper. Also the inks do not seem to do the great things promised by all the promotional videos for alcohol painting. I am still trying but it is disheartening to know you bought all the expensive stuff to create something momentous that simply isn't happening. (YouTube videos do not tell it all... keep trying and you'll find a way!)Best uses:Add a drop in 1/2 inch water to create a wash that works like watercolours.Use undiluted with a dip pen to add details to your drawings.Use them to paint on acetate and wipe off any mistakes with a wet wipe until you are happy with the result. Should you discover a mistake after the ink has dried, use your clean nib to gently scrape away the paint and start over. Great for card-making! picture is of diluted inks in alcohol sprayed via mini spray bottles. The green is a result of mixing a drop of each green colour to create a new hue. Warning: white colour does not mix with alcohol well but breaks up in little pieces, like it has curdled. In photo you see a mix of black, blue and lots of white to create a greying wash that shows the white bits. Last picture with geisha shows a graduated background created with these inks and alcohol spray.
