Haritake is 1 of the 3 components of Triphala and is known to soothe the lower bowels and tonify the colon. Recommended by Dr. JV Hebbar along with caster oil capsules, I'm finding the excess Vata to be settling down (yea!). Haritake helps to resolve constipation and with all ayurveda, slow and steady is the advice. I'm in it for the long haul, and I'm delighted with the price and quality. Gopala Organic delivered on-time and included a little gift sample of some ayurvedic soap, incense & tulsi tea. Love those guys!!

Well this one is a great thing, but I recommend buying bulk Haritaki. You need to swallow about a spoon of this or 10 pills the least. But this might just be me. Anyway, this Haritaki is not the strongest product. It is quite weak.
