I’m so blessed to have this beautiful Bible! The large, clearly readable print is so helpful to my aging vision. However, depending on the degree of visual impairment, you may need to use a magnifier to clearly see the references in the side margins…just a heads’ up.But, by far, the most useful aspect of the TCR is its highly favored chain-reference system. I’ve been an avid “Berean” (Acts17:10-11) since beginning my journey in the body of Christ nearly 50 years ago, so having a thorough and effective system of cross references such as this is essential. I feel we should do our part to rely on the Bible to interpret itself, and this is where cross references are so valuable!I’m on a rather tight budget, so this bonded leather version was a decent compromise to the premium leather edition. Love this book the page are a little thin but over all it a good book

So glad I purchased this bible. I like the set up makes it very easy to study.

If you happen to get this Bible for anywhere around $40 to $60 it's a steal. Let's just say it's worth the original price. It's the old school thin pages. It lays nice. The Bible helps, index, colored maps are awesome.*Minimum room for notes

The indexing was not the easiest for me to pick up. That took a little practice. However, the chain refences are indespensible for thorough exploration and study of so many events and topics.The Bible itself looks and feels nice. The storage box is good to have.The one I received did have a spot where the inside paper on the cover didn't adhere very well. It was not damaged, but appears to have simply not been glued down very well. I will eventually put a tiny bit of glue in there. Not worthy of a return, but thought I should mention it. The binding itself is solid. The printing is clear and consistent. At first, many pages cling to each other. Once you have read and flipped through them it is better.

I am an Elder in the church. I find this Thompson Chain-Reference Bible is perfect for both studying the Bible and extracting the proper information to write homilies and sermons with. I have shared this particular edition with students in one of the Classes I teach on preparing quality sermons, and they all find the price affordable, and the content easy to use and understand.

I purchased this wonderful book for my wife and she has been able to show me so many different things that correlate both to and in the Bible that I was shocked at just how much of the last 15 years are in their, not to mention the rest of history.She absolutely loves it and she said that it is a great addition to help her with her Bible study.
