Excellent lighting for off-road adventures!
These Auxbeam 4” LED light pods are a game-changer for back country travel. The 60W output provides incredible brightness without being overkill, and they cut through darkness on remote trails like nothing else. Installation was straightforward, and they’ve held up perfectly against dust, mud, and rough terrain. The compact square design fits nicely without looking bulky, and the light spread is ideal for navigating tricky paths at night. If you do any serious back country driving, these are absolutely worth the investment. Highly recommend!

Easy to install no cutting or splicing required
Put these on about a week ago and I’m satisfied with the quality. They seem to be a solid light for the price and are about as bright as my LED headlights. They come with a nice water/dirt proof plug so you don’t have to worry about any corrosion also has a nice quality inline fuse and has nice eyelets that mount on the battery terminals. I got the 4 inch white spotlights and they do exactly what I wanted of them. They have nice long mounting studs but my mounting plate was too close to my hood so I had to use a nut as a spacer but all worked out perfectly not the light companies fault 👍.

The Best Purchase! (Subaru Outback + Nilight Mounting)
I am going to try and be brief, but I have included my setup and story behind it. Originally, I purchased these lights with a "grain of salt" (for around $82-$92) despite the amazing reviews everyone was sharing. Reason being, is that I have already gone through 2 sets of LED Bar's. Both of which Amazon said would fit my car, and both of which did not end up being compatible. There were also no reviews for any lights with overwhelming reviews that fit my car. So when I came across these pod lights, I really did not expect much and I purchased the warranty just in case. However, I had no idea that I was about to purchase and setup my favorite purchase on Amazon to date. I did have some problems along the way that I think will be helpful to mention to those who are still contemplating on whether or not to buy them. Setup: Car: Subaru Outback 2018 LED’s: Auxbeam Floodlights Wiring Harness: Auxbeam Included With Floodlights Mounting: Nilight 90025B LED Light Bar Mounting Brackets Here are the steps I took to get where I am now. 1. The Search For Correct Mounting One of the larger issues was finding the correct mounting harness. I looked on the Auxbeam website and the Auxbeam seller on Amazon and I could not find anything that Amazon said would "fit my car". I already had a tough time finding anything that said would fit my Subaru, so I was not going to take the chance. All the YouTube videos had reviews about the Nilight pod lights (significantly cheaper) but I had tried their LED Bars and I was about done with that company. Nothing wrong with the brand! I just needed something that would "work with my car" - Amazon. However, two of the Harnesses in stock at the time were both Nilight so I rolled the dice and clicked buy now. One of which was the magnetic mounting harness, and the other was a brace harness. I wanted to install them on the hood of my Subaru Outback, and hoped at least one of them worked. The first one did not end up working because the hood on my Subaru is NOT MAGNETIC. I repeat, it is NOT MAGNETIC so it will not work. The other one did end up working really well! Its called: Niglight 90025B Led Light Bar Mounting Brackets 2pcs Universal Hood Led Work Light led Pods Mount Bracket Clamp Holder for SUV Truck Off Road Installed No Need Drilling, 2 Years Warranty, Black. Sold on Amazon right now for $14.99 but I got mine for the normal price of $16.99. Now I have to make sure it works with the Auxbeam Pods. 2: Auxbeam Pods and Nilight Mounting Bracket Setup As you can imagine, I was nervous about using a different brand made for a different product. But it ended up working really well again! I changed the middle screw with Nilights and the washers too. Both of which tightly secured the Auxbeam pod light. Everything else I left with what came from Auxbeam. Now its time to wire it up. 3: Wiring Setup The Subaru 2018 Outback is really not amazing when it comes to free space or design. I know it’s not made with the idea of someone adding LED lights to it, but I gave it a go. I first mounted the pod lights to the harness and clamped them around 5 inches apart from the separation of the hood to the body on each side. Then I routed the cables. Black to -, and red to +. There was one nut under some rubber that makes minimal, but some contact with the car for grounding. I then routed the wire up the side of the engine and up the side of the windshield. The A pillar gave me trouble because there was no space to fit the chunky off and on switch, so I just put it outside the car about an inch – 2 inches and routed it tightly along the inside of the car where the fuse box is. I then directed it behind the fuse box and then under the steering wheel. There is enough wire to go all the way from the battery to the drivers seat and although it dangles a bit (probably 5-9 inches extra), it is easily manageable and I actually prefer it like this so I can hold it and use it when needed. 4: How They Perform They work AMAZING. If the reviews don’t already explain it, allow me. They are much brighter than my high beams. Much much brighter. They can light up a huge section of a forest, road, and even show into bodies of water. They also are incredibly resilient to the climate. We have a lot of freezing rain and salt and terrible conditions around where I am. They tackle everything with ease. Overnight I put a protective covering on them because I don’t want the snow or cold rain water to bombard them all night, but I only came up with that protective measure recently. So far they have no fogging in the glass and when I travel at high speeds they don’t rotate in any direction, no matter how much wind there is. The mounting bracket and the pod lights stay right in place. I fastened them pretty tight, but left enough room if I wanted to orient them in a different direction. This may eventually loosen them up, but I have had no problem while driving so far. They also look really cool from the outside when on or off and provide a robust yet safe driving experience when looking at them from behind the wheel driving, parked, or really in any other condition. I also have had no problem with them vibrating or moving when I hit a pothole or driving on any road, including highways. I don’t use them on public roads or if there is any on-coming traffic of any kind (even in unlit backroads) because they are just way too bright. Conclusion If you are thinking about buying them for your car, truck, or Subaru, I highly recommend them. The installation process can be difficult, but they are well worth it. The safety they provide on dimly lit roads, or completely unlit roads for that matter, is well worth the $70-$90 you may purchase them for. They are bright, study and incredibly strong against the weather. Honestly, one of my favorite purchases I have made on Amazon, if not high up on the list. They also don’t impede my visibility of the road during the day. They work great and if I come across any problem with them I will leave an update. TLDR: Incredibly bright, safe, and weather resistant. I use a Nilight mounting harness with them and it fits. I wired it from the battery, and grounded it to the side the car while directing the wire up the side as far as possible, then outside an inch, and finally behind the steering wheel / fuse box. It’s a great length for a Subaru outback and improves the driving experience. Don’t use them on public roads or if there is traffic of any kind. You also don’t want to use them if you are behind anyone or look directly into the lights. Thank you to Auxbeam for making an incredible product, 100% worth the cost. I'll also be buying the pod covers because they should be covered it not being used or sitting overnight. A great buy

Excellent product, one small flaw.
The light is bright, small enough not obstruct your view and very eye catching. Installation was clear and easy, completed in 30 mins. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on its appearance. True story: My friends dog got out in the middle of the night and we used these lights to find him about half a mile away from home in the pitch black because the yellow light reflected him and his eyes from a block away. Worth every penny! The only flaw is the brackets that holds the light(part of the product), has started to rust and it’s been less than two months. I live in south Texas so it’s been pretty light rain so far this season, I’m unsure why it’s rusting so quickly. I don’t want to uninstall the light because it would require me to remove the light from the bracket and undo all the wiring placement under some of the body panels but I may have to, to paint it with rustoleum. The rust is the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

Very tight beam! Mighty mini pod lights.
I was looking for something that was more of a spot rather than flood for my boat. Even though some of the other pods are labeled spot, they are more of a combo These worked great. Compact and powerful. Distance to the sign was 350 yards. Tree line in second pic was 200 yards. Each pod draws 2.5 amps at 12.5vdc which is nice because 16ga wire will be plenty. I will check back after some run time for durability. If you are curious each pod weighs just over a pound.

Excellent price and quality
Update. I was so-so at first. Bright but hood feedback on white paint was the worst. I had a steel alternator bolt spacer from a 71 Dodge and cut in two, about 0.8" each afterwards. I didn't want $30 in two bolts, two nuts and 4 parts store washers in packages. I was experimenting just to see. Hood feedback was much worse. I shade treed from my extensive collection of never throwing anything away and it works really well now. I really like the lights and a fuller beam. They are white floods and the beam clears the front much better and you can have a bit more down angle. I am going to try some round spots and see if the shape of lens and light affects the hood like the square. It's not pretty right now, but I know it works better. I can get pretty stuff for the Walmart parking lot or just split rubber hose and wrap it. Man that's cheap, but it worked. Hose makes it look less spindely. It's actually still mounted good and solid. I used lock washers on both ends of the spacer. It can still be adjusted by hand without loosing anything. It's tighter than the stock mount.

I really like these lights . They look well made, I mounted them on my motorcycle crash bars, had to buy a set of clamps. There is a lot of wire obviously to mount to a truck etc so I had to cut some out and make some connections, might be problem for some. They are very bright so will light up the ditches, edge of the road on the right and down the driving lane on the left.
