Works great but requires 2+ people
Be sure to take your time and properly set the starting point from which to measure. Also, be sure to account for the fact that your backboard may not be square with your concrete (mine was off about 1"). It pays to drop a plumb line down either side of the backboard to avoid the stencil being set "un-square" to the backboard.If you take the appropriate preparation steps above, the stencil works great. After you've set the stencil and taped it in place (and before you paint), you will want to measure from the center point to all parts of the 3-point and free throw lines.The stencil is fairly sturdy and could be re-used if necessary. One shortfall of the kit is that the 2 cans of spray paint included with the kit are barely adequate to paint the entire key, free throw line, and 3-point line. This is the only reason I rated the product with 4, instead of 5, stars. To make solid, bold lines, at least one additional can of paint is required. I actually used two additional cans, as I eliminated the gaps in the lines.
