Got 2 of these to stick photos in.Cover lovely, but I did have to send one back and replace as spine slightly crushed.No problem there, they just sent out straight away replacement.Black paper is not really thick, but I didn't mind as photos made them more solid. Crepe paper between absolutely lovely.I used sticking tabs which adhered well and I could actually get them off if I hadn't got photos straight enough with no damage to paper.Bought white pens to write on black paper, did a few test runs under photo placement to make sure they could be used. They were ok and no smudging.I could fit 4 photos of each paper - 2 portrait, 2 landscape. I had to cut photos if wanted all landscape on a page, but that was half the fun, filling the scrapbook, working out where to place photos and writing.One book is now full. It looks spectacular.Front page where you can slot in a photo is a bit naff and fiddly (thin plastic, not glass. I may update and make this better.However, for the price I love them. They look very classy.... Will buy more...

I needed an old fashioned sort of album to keep together a large number of ancient family photos which were in danger of getting damaged in the various boxes where they were living. I took a bit of a gamble on this album, as it seemed rather cheap, but it's actually very nice indeed. The paper is thick, I like the protective paper for each page, the cover seems sturdy, and I very much like how as the album has filled up it has not gone out of shape - with a lot of albums as the photos go in and the pages get 'thicker' the covers start to warp, and look unstable. This hasn't, and I have used nearly all the pages, with multiple photos on both sides of the pages, and with a lot of postcard-type photos and ones on those thin card mounts which I can't get off without damaging the photo.I am buying a second one to transfer all my old family photos into.Obviously you need to buy photo corners to place your pictures; and I bought the album with white pages so I could easily write next to each photo who, what, where and when.Excellent value for money, and seems to be very good quality.

Need your own stickers for this which is what I wanted. Black pages which makes photos stand out, especially if you have photos with white borders. Can fit 2 6x4 landscape + 2 portrait on one page. Classy looking hard cover with photo insert on front, although the cover marks quite easily.

I had planned to send this back as I thought the paper wasn't strong enough. However, I didn't and it seems fine after all. The outside was a little bit marked with the odd glue streak or something- not badly though. It does look lovely and have a large capacity. I am using it for all the odd sized photos that don't fit the pocket style albums. I might have preferred black paper inside, which was a bit more expensive. I do recommend it, I searched for good value large albums and it fits the bill for traditional style ones. Remember you need to get photo corners or use glue and it will take a bit longer than other types of album. There are glassine leaves between pages to protect the photos.

I bought this to make a photo album as a present.It is smart, made of good quality paper, great tissue lining between each page and the covers are very firm. If anything I'd say it is a bit heavy and really big, so it is an album you would have to sit down for to look through.Sticky corners have generally stayed in place so far though on turning pages, some photos have popped out of their corners so perhaps another form of adhesion might be better, like glue dots or gluing the full photo.I would recommend this album to others if you're looking for a high-quality product.

This album on the surface is beautifully put together, it be footing for any thing day from a wedding collection to memories ….. my only fault in it is how to insert your photos ! I had to use a paper glue which isn’t ideal ! I think the manufacturer and designers of this should have given more thought to it . They should have taken inspiration from the ‘80’s versions !

My disappointment with this album was that the pages are thinner than my existing ones, so it is not as satisfying to use or, I imagine, as sturdy. But it is SO hard to find this type of photo album at all these days that I would still recommend it, as long as you are prepared for this feature.

I have ordered twice this kind of album. First order come in perfect shape. Second order came in with all corner damaged. The package of second order was too flimsy. I hope Amazon UK warehouse read this comment and correct it. Otherwise, the undamaged album are perfect ! I love the fact that someone still makes black page photo album with white glassin paper.

Por mi trabajo compro muchos álbumes, y este es siempre uno de los que más compro. Está bien de tamaño, es bonito, le puedes poner una foto en la portada, y las hojas están separadas por una lámina protectora. Es para pegar las fotos. Buen precio.
