Very easy to use, super clear
I've used polygel before and there was a clear that came with my set, but it is unusable and impossible to build with unlike the actual colors. Hence why I was looking for something different and I bought this one because of so many positive reviews. I must say I am super happy with it! Initially it seemed pretty watery in comparison to polygel, but soon enough I loved it because it was super easy to build with, shape, file, feels solid and cures easily. It's also very clear so if anyone wanted to encapsulate glitter etc it'd be perfect. It's only cloudy after filing like on my photos, but before that, it was clear like a glass. I can't recommend it enough. Now the last thing to check will be durability of it. But so far, it's fantastic.

How to get best results - Really like this gel
Well, I read some reviews - here is how to do your nails - from an 'at home' DIY girl who has been doing her nails at home for 3 years now. Just tried this gel & love it! Very easy to use, a nice consistency.File nail bedWipe with non oily cleaner to remove all traces of oil & dust from filing - make them 'squeaky clean'Apply nail BONDER (you will need to purchase)Using a gel brush (you will need to purchase)Apply a thin layer & cure under a 48w UV lamp for this type of gel for 60 secondsApply a slightly thicker 2nd coat - cure for 90 secondsApply a third thin coat to smooth out the nail, cure for 90 secondsWipe any residue with the non oily nail cleanerYou will have thin, hard nails.I am fed up with coloured gels so I now use Sally Hanson Miracle Gel (get from Boots, Superdrug etc)REMOVALIf you use Sally Hanson stuff, you can use ACETONE to quickly remove the nail colourThat then leaves you with the thin 3 layers of clear gel which is easy to fill downAlso you don't have to worry about getting all the coloured gel off which is what usually takes the time!

Bargain
I am a qualified nail tech and prefer not to use products (expensive, well-known brands) that I stock for clients on myself and came across this big tub for under a tenner!Didn’t have high hopes with previous reviews but personally I found it brilliant. Very durable, easy to work with. A lot of reviews stated the product gave them a reaction! I personally would do a patch test before using as I have very sensitive skin. I will continue using this and purchasing. Have had it on my own nails for 2 weeks and still strong, therefore I found it durable and well worth the money.

Brilliant!
I have had my nails professionally gelled for many years and I had always said that I was going to attempt to do my own. As my salon has closed due to the coronavirus I invested some time into researching products. The gel arrived today together with some additional products I purchased from the blue sky range and I am very impressed. The pot is huge and looks as though it will last forever! I mixed this gel with glitter and used it over my whole nail. I did not use it to build but will try this next time. It cures well and only needs 60 seconds under the SUNUV led/uv lamp. Love it!!

Good product but leaves sticky residue and lifts off
Good product and works well, sets to a very clear hard acrylic. Only problem is it always leaves a sticky residue on the Top no matter how long you cure under the UV lamp which needs to be scrubbed off. It also does have a tendency to lift off the nail and needs to be redone.

Must wipe off stickiness between coats using alcohol cleaner.
Brilliant. I'm a finger style guitarist, and breaking a crucial nail can be a nightmare. I've tried gluing on nail tips; superglue plus fibreglass tape; non UV nail build mixes etc, all with limited, messy success. This is literally my first attempt using UV gel, and it looks to be the answer. Perfect, strong new nail tips that I can cut with clippers and file normally. I followed the instructions carefully, prepared and cleaned the nail and then used bonding agent, followed by three coats of this gel, first very thin, then a slightly thicker one, and then around the same thickness for a top coat. I also used a nail form to allow the gel to be controlled forward of the broken nail.It does seem essential to wipe off stickiness between coats. I did this using isopropanol on a piece of kitchen roll. The resulting nail feels as strong, if not stronger, than my own. Really pleased.
