Funlux/Zmodo 4 Channel 720P HD Network Video Recorder ZP-NE14-S 500GB Hard Drive

This DVR is great. I have done every family members house with Zmodo/ Funlux products and have had little to no issues. Most negative reviews are problems that are the customer’s internet or on their end. This DVR is very inexpensive and easy to set up. The DVR is compatible with all Zmodo/ Funlux Cameras and even the 1080p Zmodo Cameras also! I love you can factory reset it and even if you have a device or WiFi that is bad on the mobile app and motion alerts the DVR with compensate and out of all the dvrs and products I’ve had I’ve never had to return it, just follow the manual word for word and you will love this DVR as well. Best tips for setting up is connect the cameras to your app first, then the DVR.

Really wish I stayed away from all zmodo products.

I actually owned 4 of these units before purchasing 2 more this month. They are really nice systems but the electronics that comes in the receivers are junk. The cameras that come bundled with the unit work forever it seems like but the electronics in the receiver burn out within 2 to 4 years. The very first unit that I purchased back in 2014 lasted for a little over 5 years while the latest models don't last that long. But anyway, The unit that amazon sent me was defective. The 500 gigabyte hard drive that came with the unit was bad, luckily I had another hard drive that came out of the old burned up unit which I installed in the new unit.. I may have voided the warranty but how can you legally put a warranty on a piece of junk. If you are wondering, yes I am very angry. Zmodo/Funlux quality has gotten worse in the past couple years now. I noticed that they sell replacement cameras and units but what they really need to sell is replacement receiver circuit boards and power supplies because that is the first thing that burns out and I need three receiver circuit boards along with power supplies so I can get my other 3 systems working again.

Constantly crashes. What good is recording 4 channels if it doesn't display the feed correctly.The unit itself is sturdy metal and plastic.The operating system/firmware is pretty straightforward and easy to use.Customer support (Zmodo) is pretty good. They try to help as much as possible.

This is my second funlux dvr and the price and quality is great, the last one got fried due to lightning , I recommend this product.

I had 2 funlux IP camera. I bought other HVR but it did not compatible. This one does what i needed it to be.
