Heat Resistant Mat with Travel Pouch for Hair Straighteners

As a replacement for a GHD product similar this in my opinion is better. The ease to store my GHD's and also ensure no surface is damaged during use is perfect and great value for money.

Wow I love it! Nice and thick, with a pouch that would fit most straighteners except maybe very wide ones. Closes nicely. Does the job it should!

This is a BASIC quality, non-fancy, heatproof mat, that does the job intended.The mat itself seems to be made from a thick felt-like material and does a decent job of protecting surfaces from my hot appliances. It is around 30.5cm x 25cm, and folds in half width-ways to 12.5cm. There is a small piece of velcro to hold the pouch in place when folded. The slide pocket easily accommodates my GHD straighteners with ease.Please note that the pocket does not have anything to hold the appliance in place (from the end in which you slide the item in) and if placed loose in a bag your appliance can potentially fall out. Personally, I feel it would have been useful to have a velcro fastening here - considering the price of my GHD straighteners. My only other minor gripe is that I wish it had some padding to protect the appliance. Nonetheless, you get what you pay for and considering the price I cannot grumble.For those of you looking for something more sturdy with a zip in compartment and better quality, there are other items available on Amazon but will cost you around 4 times the price of this mat.It serves its purpose in:(1) Protecting surfaces (carpet, wooden furniture) as a heatproof mat whilst I am using my straighteners and(2) Acting as a pouch to store my appliance, both generally and when travelling.Overall, I am happy, it is a cheap, basic heatproof mat that is fit for purpose - I would recommend it to others.

Arrived on time and works well for the hot straighteners and with a nice lil bag too

Heatmat does what it says, but could be better doesnt hold the straighteners in tightly so they fall out if not careful.

This is soo much better than my old one as it kept bursting open, straighteners are in the pouch and cable can be kept in the other bit which has Velcro to close so nothing falls out, much easier to store when cool as the wire was loose in my old one and was always getting wrapped round other stuff in my wardrobe, great pouch for the price

Just a mat and has a pouch for the straightener.Looks alright, wasn't needing it to do much. I dont use it often because I don't use the hair straightener often but it gets the heat resisting job done after straightening and keeps the hair straightener from touching the carpet.The velcro seal doesn't align properly but it's alright.
