Really effective lighting but sadly only lasted one and a half winters before they started to wear and started tripping the fuse box.

Got these to go over my patio. They were east to setup and the light from them is a very warm yellow light... They are not very bright but that is perfect for late summer evenings... Bulbs are, as stated plastic which is great as it removes the chance of broken glass... Filaments are an LED strip which looks like an early incandescent filament when lit..They have now been out in a number of bad rain storms with no sign of water ingress...I could not be happier with them...

First why I bought these lights: don't be misled by lights costing half as much. I Initially bought some lights at half the price that claimed all weather outdoor usage. BUT they arrived with a tiny sheet of paper with a disclaimer saying "only for occasional use". I checked the lights out and I can confirm that the quality wasn't there, they just didn't seem robust, the incandescent bulbs got hot (as they do), the plug wasn't a sealed type, the wiring wasn't thick. Lights were not backed by a IP rating.These lights look great and are the real thing. LED bulbs that are always cool, sealed plug, thick heavy duty wiring, robust fittings. They are rated IP65, which you can spray water on them from any direction and they are save.

Great quality lighting strong however bulbs let me down, cannot fault the durability of the set however the bulbs are horrible and seem to flicker at an extremely high rate, almost unnoticeable however once noticed it won’t leave your mind! So if you purchase these I would reccomend you factor in the cost of some higher quality LED filament lamps, preferably dimmable LED filament bulbs as the plug can be unscrewed and the cable can be connected to a waterproof junction box to allow it to function as an outside light.Reason for 3 stars is because bulbs are expensive and now I have to look at purchasing more to replace these poor quality ones.

...the cable from plug to the first light is very short so your power outlet would need to be quite high up, otherwise you will need, as did I, to add a length of cable (joined by waterproof connectors, of course) if your outlet is low down. Would have given five stars otherwise.Arrived in good condition and promptly.

These are so good I bought three and connected them up together by using the connections provided (no wiring needed). It has thick black waterproof cable and is supplied with LED light bulbs that has a warm soft glow and will last for a very long time. This may sound silly to experienced DIY enthusiasts but hang the lights up in the position you want them in before screwing in the LED light bulbs, as the bulbs are very fragile. You can buy hooks to hang them on or like I did screw them straight onto the fence and/or wall using the rubber eye above each light. Brilliant for summer nights following a BBQ.

I like the fact these use a standard plug rather than a power supply as it fits in my outside block. I've got them plumbed in through a 24 hour timer. When is dark they're very bright and create a lovely ambient light.

Fantastic lights, we've put them up above our patio area and as BBQ season has started we've been able to stay out longer in the evenings. Great for parties too, really sets the atmosphere. At first my wife said they were too bright, but that was purely because she was used to having almost no light outside after sunset. She's since changed her mind and said that because of the colour temp of the LED bulbs, it's a comfortable amount of warm light.Shame they can't improve the weather!
