Feeling Safer
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this to mount on my Segway and it is perfect for my purpose. I no longer have to rely on hearing a vehicle approach from behind before turning to look. It has a very clear picture and is usable in the day and/or night. It doesn't have any infrared L.E.D's but still has excellent color night vision. My neighborhood has street lights on every street but still has some really dark areas and I can easily see anything behind me and as shown in one of my photos, You can see how dark it is to the naked eye compared to how bright it appears through the camera. I consistently get about 4-5 hours of use between charges which is about 3 days of riding for me. The bar on my segway is irregularly shaped and fatter than most bars on bicycles to which it would normally be mounted so I just wrapped the bracket around as far as it would go and used the draw ties that came with it to mount it as shown in another pic. The picture adjustment settings work well to adjust the monitor for day or night use since the contrast and brightness settings I use for day riding blow the screen out at night from the street and car headlights, so decreasing them gives me a perfect picture at night. It would be nice if it had the ability to save 2 or 3 user settings for quick recall so I didn't have to go in and manually adjust them every time but that's just a suggestion and in no way a complaint or deal breaker... maybe the manufacturer will read this and add it on the next version in the future. The only actual complaint I have is the ridiculously dim charging light that is inside the camera input jack. I have to look at a specific angle to even see it and if I were to charge it without unplugging the camera, there would be no way of telling if the thing is charging or finished charging. It definitely needs a light somewhere on the outside or an indication on the screen without having to turn it on. All said, I love it, recommend it and feel safer because of it.

Excellent Prompt Service
I was unsure how to use the five buttons on the back of the monitor so I emailed ParkVision. They quickly replied with both an explanation and a video clip that made things clear.😊I was also concerned that the cord connecting the camera and the monitor might not be long enough as I wanted to install them on my recumbent trike which required a considerably longer cord than would the installation on a regular bicycle. Thankfully, the cord was easily long enough and the installation went very smoothly. 😊

Great picture
I had very low expectations with the camera and screen but it’s great! Really helps when I commute home after work and it’s really dark out the night vision works great and the mount to take it on and off is really good.

Battery does not last 300 minutes. Try 90.
The battery dies after 90 minutes on full charge. I will try again, but if this is all I get, the unit will be returned, Not sure this is a useful unit for rides longer the 1 1/2 hours.UPDATE: Customer service from Parkvision contacted me wanting to make things right. That itself was a very pleasant surprise. I am on my second charge and will see if the battery lasts longer. I will update again after the issue is fully resolved. However, as far as the unit goes, I like it and want it to work out. The field of view is good. I feel safer using the camera to see what is behind me rather than mirrors. It does not record, but I would rather use it to avoid an accident rather than to record an accident so that I can sue someone. I believe both cyclists and drivers have a responsibility to insure safe shared use of the roads.

This thing actually works pretty well!
The media could not be loaded. Okay, so here's the thing-- this product works well for what it is and what it does. It's fairly inexpensive for both a screen and camera, it highlights night time very well, and it's not fussy: You plug it in, set it on your bike, and you are good-to-go.That said, it does have a few drawbacks. The cord is just not something that I want to deal with. No, it wasn't a surprise or anything, but I'm going to keep looking for a bluetooth or other wireless solution because it's both a bit ugly and potentially problematic. Another issue is that the screen itself is incredibly bulky, and I think unnecessarily so. It's so bulky that I really can't use it on my handlebar unless I tilt it to an awkward angle. I mean, it's better than nothing.I prefer this device to a rear-view mirror, and this device does what it says it does (and pretty well at that!). If you don't mind the cord and you don't have too many screens on your handlebar, this'll work for you. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work for me. I don't think it's at all a bad product, though.

Great product foe ebikes
I installed this on the handlebars of my e-bike trike. I pull a trailed for my Border Collie and the best way to keep tabs on her is with this camera/monitor. When I see her get Andy I stop let her stretch, do her business, and get back to riding. The rechargeable battery on the monitor has never failed me on the longest of bike rides and it does show an icon on screen to let you know how much energy is left in the pack. This is a nice package that totally eliminates the need for mirrors that I always seemed to be breaking off.

junk
Exactly what I was looking for. Good clear rear view, easily readable screen even in the bright Florida sunshine. Good long battery life, easy to install. I did mount it on a handlebar extension as it does take up a bit of space, of which there's not much extra on my e-bike. I'd recommend it.Update. One month later the battery quit taking a charge. You know, you just want to buy something and it works. Who wants to have to an email fight with some chinesium company over returns or refunds or any of that crap. What a pain.

Great safety Aid
Absolute must for cyclists. Excellent vision showing vehicles etc. behind. Instructions are a tad sparse but the unit is easy to install and set up. Probably one of the most useful safety aids available to bike riders.

Bright screen
Fitted to Kaabo King GT scooter. Cable long enough to mount camera at rear. Bright screen but could use non reflective surface. Angle of rear view a little wide but better than mirror mount on end of handle bar.Overall happy with result.
