PhilipsmyGarden Raccoon LED Wall Light with Motion Sensor [Inox] 3.5 W Integrated LED For Garden and Patio Lighting

I love this light! It is perfect for the front of our house. I am definitely getting another one for the side door entrance. The instructions were mainly pictorial but I got the gist and was able to put it up and wire it with no problems. The timer and night/day switch were very easy to set and the light gives us great visibility on approach. Good buy!

Cheap looking

Let me start by saying this light fitting is excellent value for money and made to a high standard and I have no hesitation recommending it, although I have two minor qualms, firstly the light given off by the LED is not as bright as I thought but I put that down to the frosted front of the fitting and not the LED output.My only other qualm is the mounting plate only has one cable entry.Over all this is a well made and easy to install fitting that produces more than enough light to brighten up a walkway or door frontage. 9/10 from me, worth a good look at before buying other brands

Works out of the box, quite a low level very warm light. Just what we wanted

Easy install and provides the perfect amount of light for my front porch, especially to say how low power it is.The PIR is sensitive and turns on when cars drive past about 15-20ft away, but again it's low power so not the end of the world and a nice deterrant by illuminating the front door anyway.

Like many other reviews, I found myself disappointed with the penny pinching design of the method of installing the light. Tiny, fiddly screws and the moulded receiver for the bottom screw works perfectly to trap the wires and block when you reassemble the light after connection. Not the sort of design flaw I expected from a premium-priced Philips product. The graphical instructions save on translating instructions into different languages, but falls short of being helpful. Made in China, ok, but the design is poor from an installation point of view. Otherwise a nice light and the sensors works fine.

Further to fitting the light, it was obvious that the PIR is not functioning. The light comes on when powered afresh from the supply, but then not even the most energetic of dance performances outside my house will set the darn thing off. Unfortunately my 30 day return had expires as I was waiting for my new porch to get constructed before this got fitted. I also had it fitted by a professional electrician. Really fed up as I like the look of the light and it was over £50. I have written to PHILIPS to see if they can offer some christmas good will?
