Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (Wii)

This was got for a 5yo (and her Dad) and we have played regularly in co-op mode for three months now since Chrismas (and at about 90% complete). I am amazed how quickly she picked all the aspects of the game up and she manages quite well on her own for a lot of the game - only needing dad for the hard bits (mostly the slightly frustrating lego piece levitations). The early parts of the game clearly guide you well in learning what you need to knowThe 2 player play is really good. People can drop in and out at will, swop characters and move seperately (when the screen wil magically split into 2). Mostly, no one player is in charge and it feels very equal, which my daughter likes a lot. Such a shame the online co-op mode isnt on the Wi versionLike the other Lego games, once you have sufficient artefacts you can turn on "extras" that help you find the stuff you have missed - and that is really helpful if you want to get 100%Had quite a few glitches (odd stuck lego pieces etc) but nothing that ruins the game. Did have to get a walkthrough off the internet to solve a couple of puzzles as it really wasnt clear what you had to do but even they might have been solved by the "shoot everything and keep shooting if you are stuck" gameplayCant wait for Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 which is supposed to be out soon in Summer 2011

If you're a fan of the lego games, then you'll love Lego Harry Potter, regardless of whether you are a Harry Potter fan or notThe 2 player game play is superb especially how the screen splits to allow both players to be in seperate parts of the same section.The game play uses a great micture of the essential lego features and guides you nicely thru the game. This game I find harder than either Lego Star Wars or Lego Indiana Jones. Non-the-less this is provides great entertainment.The game play graphics and cut-scenes are exceptional.I'm not a Harry Potter fan and so have only half watched the first few films - but the game seems to follow the storyline to the films well.Great for adults and kids alike.Allows 4 game slots to be saved - so enables different members of your family to play and progress at their own rate. However we love 2 player mode so much.Nothing bad to say - except that it doesn't make much use of the wii remote i.e. no need to point it at the screen or its g sensors, unless I've missed something. That said - its otherwise fab fab fab

Good game, quite a few glitches bit5way better than years 5-7

We have been waiting for this game for ages and I have to say it was worth the wait. My son is a massive Lego fan and also loves all of the Lego video games and has them all on PC, Wii and DS! I have never actually been tempted to play any of them as they are not my usual sort of game but as I love Harry Potter so much I decided to give this one a go with my son.The game controls are very straight forward and I love the fact that you can't actually die - you just respawn and lose some 'studs'. There is so much to do in the game I can see that it will take us ages to actually complete it as the developers have been very clever and added elements into every level which require you to do the level again in free play mode. The cut scenes are brilliant and very funny.I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes Lego, Harry Potter and gaming!

My kids have found this one highly entertaining and easier to cooperate on compared to e.g. Lego Star Wars. The big difference is that in two player mode, if one character goes one way while the other wishes to explore elsewhere, instead of one character getting dragged along in the wake of the other, possibly over the edge of a cliff, the game goes into a very clever and natural-looking split-screen mode until the players are close enough once more. No more arguments!The levels seem fresher and less repetitive, too. The same goes for the visual humour.And all that before I say -- it's Harry Potter! Which would mean nothing if the game wasn't such a good experience. Very good, at a great price now and totally frustration-free. You really can't go wrong.

I'm writing this review without seeing anyone else's so I am not influenced by them.Pros:1. It's like the previous "Lego" games2. It's great fun3. It contains typical "Lego" games humour4. It's easy(ish) to play but there are still parts that require the player to thinkCons:1. It's like the previous "Lego" games2. You can't bypass the 'story' sections before getting to the game sectionsWhy 4 stars and not 5?1. Players may not like its similarity to previous "Lego" incarnations2. My second item in the Cons section above - my Grandson got very annoyed waiting to play some of the scenes - the player should be allowed to bypass these sections.I strongly recommend this to "Lego" game fans and Harry Potter fans alike (the latter will love the small changes to the story lines to make a humorous scene from a non-humorous situation). Overall an excellent game and, despite its repeatedly delayed availability date, well worth waiting for.

Over the years i bought all of the lego wii games star wars, indiana jones and batman, so when i saw harry potter come out i just had to get it.I am a HUGE fan of the books, films and games and lego harry potter is no disappointment. The spell casting is awesome, the range of characters is fantastic and the lego comedy elements are brilliant. The game stays true to the story lines and allows players to travel all throughout hogwarts collecting coins, smashing boxes and saving students.The game is suitable for all ages, my brother and i have been enjoying the co-op ability. One point i must make is the length of the game. I've had it for a few days and can see an upcoming end. However is has been so much fun that i wont care when i finish it because i will just play it again.This game is a must get for any lego fans, harry potter fanatics or anyone looking for a spectacular console game

Mio figlio aveva giocato al secondo capitolo (anni 5-7) e voleva giocare anche i primi anni della serie.A discapito di una grafica leggermente inferiore qualitativamente rispetto al capitolo successivo (e può starci), mi dice che il gioco per certi versi è più divertente del sequel.Come sempre ci sono un sacco di elementi divertenti in stile Lego.Musiche tratte dal film.Si sta cimentando per finire il gioco al 100% (e non è facile). Giocabilità e rigiocabilità alta, longevità pure.Ah: è anche in italiano (sottotitoli). Non si capiva bene dalla descrizione, ma tranquilli: non si è vincolati al solo inglese.Promosso a pieni voti.

Très bon jeu. Il est bien en français. Expédié et reçu très rapidement. Les enfants de 5 et 9 ans, fans d'Harry Potter, ont adoré ce jeu et ont réussi à le finir en un mois (avec un peu d'aide). Ils m'ont réclamé le jeu suivant. Je recommande.

Compré este juego para una niña de 8 años que está loca por el Harry Potter, le ha encantado sobre todo porque se puede jugar como varios personajes diferentes (Harry, Hermione, Ron etc) y tiene que resolver problemas y usar la cabeza - es poco violento y muy bien diseñado. Estuve preocupada a la hora de comprarlo porque como pone 'importación inglesa' me preguntaba si iba a poder cambiar el idioma al castellano - pero resulta que sí, puede elegir el idioma y está muy contenta. Y yo también, porque la versión importada me ha costado bastante menos que la versión que se vende aquí en España...

La mia prima esperienza con un videogioco LEGO l'ho provata con Harry Potter anni 5-7 e da qui è nata una vera ossessione. Ho sognato di giocare ad Harry Potter anni 1-4 per diverso tempo finché non ho trovato un prezzo conveniente. Questi videogiochi mi rilassano tantissimo e soprattutto non innervosiscono. Il TOP. Spero di avere presto la possibilità di acquistare altri videogiochi di questo tipo.Come sempre, nessun problema con l'ordine, il pacco e la spedizione

Entrega perfecta,juego perfecto.Totalmente en castellano,tiene varios idiomas para elegir,formato pal.El juego esta muy entretenido para jugarlo con los nenes de la casa y muy lograda la esencia del mundo magico de Harry Potter.Lo recomiendo a todos los que les gusten los juegos de lego y pasar un buen rato jugando con sus hijos.Precio,producto y entrega una maravilla,muy barato.A disfrutarlo
