I use this to make fridge magnets. Laminate photos etc , a strip of this and done. Love it.

I use this to attach all sorts of things, from photos, cards, kitchen utensils etc., works great and so easy to use. Bought more as a back up but not needed yet. Would absolutely recommend.

Wanted it as a guide on my sewing machine but magnet wasn’t strong enough soused it to hold my contents lists on my freezers

Yeah, it's magnetic, and in a strip. Easy to cut with scissors, and the sticky back is fairly strong. I got this to stick on the back of an old iPhone case, to hold the phone on the fridge door permanently (so I've always got music and podcasts ready to play in the kitchen). It fell off after about a week, when the sticky-back gave up (not the magnets). I've used some super strong double sided tape to reapply the strips - it's still there now, weeks later.

The adhesive is so poor it comes away when magnetised

I bought to be able to stick some of our kitchen tools on the fridge, like a tin opener, corer, etc. It initally sticks to them but quickly falls off. I had to put quite a lot on to hold them up because the magnet is so weak. I gave up eventually...If you plan on doing anything like this make sure the item is very very light and maybe use your own adhesive.

Before buying this product you need to ask yourself in all seriousness "do I know how these strips are made and what there limitations are"?If you're in any doubt then you're looking in the wrong place.Let me try and help with some perspective a piece of this tape 50mm long will hold a 57gr item on a fridge door.... just.(assuming direct contact with the door)Obviously the more tape used the better the grip.This tape is great for backing on car advertising signs, that aren't required to be permanent, lighter smaller designed fridge displays, magnetic notice boards etc.I've used it in conjunction with mini magnets to secure a dash cam to the rear side or the rear view mirror.
