Arrived early. Fair price. All work.I chose cool white and they are bright too.Reviews wrongly accuse the bulbs of flickering so Iet me explain.Light fittings no longer contain transformers to reduce voltage to 12V instead use electronic controller to do the job. They are designed for convential bulb loads i.e. a four bulb cooker hood has 4 of 20W bulbs = 80W total load When you fit these 2 or 3 W led bulbs you only get 4 of 3W = 12W total load. The controllers are designed to turn off the output supply when the load is so low the volts rise, they think 12W is effectively off because the load is so low its output volts have risen and shut down the output. Then the 12W load drags the volts down so it turns on again it repeats this cycle very fast going on and off and appears as a flicker. This means you may need a smaller controller for your cooker hood, the bulbs are fine. I proved this by putting back 1 of the 4 old 20W bulbs and the flicker in the other 3 leds stopped. In my case its such a small flicker im using all 4 led but if you read by this light you would need correct controller/ transformer or leave 1 old 20w bulb and 3 led as total 29W is sufficient to keep controller on.Dont blame the bulbs its the users who need to understand the need to match led bulbs to controlling transformers not just the right voltage or pin type.

Great stuff, good quality but not used yet

So far so good. Quite bright & the only LED to fit my bulb globes.

I bought these for two applications: a three-bulb halogen chandelier, where the bulbs sit there exposed like candle flames, and also to replace two cooker extractor lamps and some under-cabinet lights. in the chandelier application I was pleasantly surprised that they look almost exactly right: very bright point source and a good direct replacement nobody would notice. Only problem was that with all three changed they flickered; very subtle but you couldn't live with it. Putting one of the halogens back stabilised the remaining LEDS and I'm happy, albeit with reduced energy saving. I suspect a better quality power supply would help, so I don't neccessarily blame the bulbs. Re the hood/cabinet lamp application, the issue was whether they fit in the glass-covered recesses. They did fit in mine perfectly. They are a little larger than halogens, and they might end up closer to the glass cover than previous, but as they run relatively cool I don't expect any glass breakage from heat. Four stars for longevity, because I've only run them a few days.

Only just fitted so can't comment on lifespan or actual energy efficiency. They're nice and bright and give out more light than the halogen bulbs they've replaced.

On the cool side but small and compact

Well first and foremost there is absolutely nothing to dislike about this led pack as the saying goes ( it does exactly what it says on the tin) Highly recommended.
