These are excellent. I've found these original Keen Newport sandals much more comfortable than the H2 versions, which I returned because the artificial-material webbing rubbed my feet. Footbed of the originals is more comfortable too, plus I prefer how they look. Wide toe box keeps toes cool and comfortable and lets them spread out, providing stability. Soles are excellent for grip.One tip: whatever size you are in Clarks, go a size larger in Keen.

Bought my exact size. They were a bit to start with but great now.

These are super quality but a couple of things that are not perfect. They are heavy for sandals - but of course have quite rugged soles. Wide at toes which is great but middle foot a bit too narrow for me, also no heel adjustment. The inner elastic shoe is one piece ie no break for getting foot in unlike some others so they take a bit of effort to put on and take off - no major problem but more work than for instance Crocs - but of course you wouldn't walk far in those!Have done quite a bit of walking and no problems/blisters even from new. I have some other sandals that are very similar though and about half this price so I think a bit expensive, in comparison.

My fourth pair of Keen Sandals and my third of this model. I wear them for about 10 months of the year. We have a motorhome and tour in Europe and the UK. I have these on all the time. They are so comfy and hard wearing, you don’t need any other shoe!They get wet, both salt and freshwater, they get muddy, dried out and I walk for miles over trails.They last around two years before the tread wears out. I’ve never had a strap snap or the sole come away. At no time has the colour in the material run and stained my feet.Size wise I take a 9.5/10 in "normal" shoes and the 10 in these is perfect.I’d never consider another make either. Neither should you!

Having previously tried several other types of Keen shoes and found their sizing way off, I was wary about buying these Newport leather sandals. Now I realise I should have learned from my poor previous experiences and avoided these altogether.First impressions out of the box was good, they fit ok and seemed comfortable and well made. However, when I wore them outside it became apparent very quickly that these Keen Newport sandals aren't what they seem.The immediate thing I noticed was a lack of cushioning in the sole: very poor in the heel and mid-sole. They made my calves hurt and I found them odd to walk in.Next, was the footbeds have no arch support. Seriously, Keen? This sandal is aimed squarely at serious walkers!Then, I started to notice they felt sweaty... yuck!Finally, and this is the really unacceptable bit, the neoprene lining inside the leather chaffed and rubbed the tops of my feet! This felt really painful and I knew they were not for me. And, I didn't do a ten-mile trek, just a little jaunt, but if you check out the photo I took of my foot when I took off the sandals you can see what these nasty Keen sandals did to them.Being a total moron, I had purchased not just one but TWO pairs of these in different colours!! Luckily, Amazon customer service is incredible and so I'm not out of pocket with this particular pair.Would I buy any Keen footwear again? No!!!!! And my advice is to stay well away from this brand. Don't just take my word for it, check out the other 1 star reviews on Amazon & you'll see many other very disgruntled customers moaning (quite rightly) about this latest terrible version of Keen Newport sandals.

These are sturdy, comfortable, versatile, very stable and I love the look.On the "rate features" here, I checked "fit as expected" because I'd read lots of reviews, also the Keen website and knew that they are a small fit. However, great for me - my usual size in Keen shoes is a UK 5.5, and although the sandals I bought are a mens' UK 6, in this case they fit perfectly. Very pleased and highly recommended if you can get your correct size.
