Solid Steel so is easy to clean and hygienic. File pads themselves are coarse o one side and fine on the other. Depending on how rough your skin is you will get a couple of uses before they need changing. Once your feet are in order they will last for several more goes after that. So good my missus also bought one. This is a great file superior to others.

Sturdy design and easy to hold with thumb groove for those difficult to reach angled areas. Comes with 12 spare pads (6 harder files, 6 slightly smoother for finishing). If you've tough, hard skin, this file works a treat. Was bit weary at first as pads feel like industrial sandpaper, but within a minute had a pile of white powdered skin on floor. Finished off with smoother side and feet feel great. Foot file and pads will last for couple years at least, bargain for the price. Considered getting electric foot file, but was put off by reviews saying file auto stops once pressure applied (not great if you've hard skin that needs working on). Glad I went for manual as have more control on how hard I want to go.

This foot file is undeniably the best I've had. You can use it dry or wet and it's easy to replace the sanding paper. It's gentle enough so you can't injure yourself and it's comfortable to hold. Simple yet effective design and quality manufacturing. Those sticky papers don't go anywhere once stuck. Don't stick a new one on top of a used one however as it will not hold. You have to remove the previous one. This is one file you will keep for the rest of your life. I have purchased mine in January 2018 and today was the 1st time I changed the sanding paper!!! Once I finish using this file on wet feet, I use my mont bleu glass file (also bought on amazon) to smooth the surface on my dry skin and my feet are as soft as a baby 's.This is such great quality that I will always buy this one should I need a replacement and I' d buy this or recommend this one to friends and family. This is what happens when manufacturers take pride in their product and make them to last. It's a win-win. This file is super easy to clean and can withstand hot water for sterilisation. I love it.

I've tried this out once and it seems to work well. Just two quibbles - there was a label stuck over the instructions which I had difficulty peeling off, and the instructions mention a non-existent 'callus remover attachment'.

I am very impressed by the quality of this product, it is the best foot file that I've ever used. It is made from stainless steel, is of sturdy construction and feels good to use, easily removing hard skin. Simply rinse under the tap to clean. I am so glad that I didn't opt for a cheaper plastic one. Well worth the money.

Excellent foot file very sturdy and effective. Long handle is particularly useful.
