Buy it only if you like the Ewok village scene - Don't buy it as an investment.
Bought 3 of these due to the 5 star reviews and the hope that once retired, it would make a good investment. The completed scene is okay but I'm not sure paying £199 for it was such a good investment. If I were to make any profit once it retires, I would need to get over £300 for it to cover the 10% eBay fees, paypal fees and postage. My advice is buy it only if you like the Ewok village scene in Episode 6 and not to buy into the hype. It's such a shame that Lego has only allowed Smythstoys and themselves to sell it - a monopoly. If other retailers such as ASDA or Amazon were to sell i, I'm pretty sure the price would drop to under £150.It was supposed to be retired last year, and yet there are still plenty at my local Smythstoys.

Quality product, but overpriced on here - go to the lego website direct for same, but cheaper.
The product is great and although I have bought it previously for my younger son, it still gives me hours of enjoyment, both building and playing with it with my children; helps me remember this from my youth when the Ewoks were first out.I do however question why anyone is paying over £200 here for the set, when you can get the same set for £199.99 brand new direct from the lego website:http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Ewok-Village-10236If the price was correct and fair, it would have got the 5 stars.
