I didn't get to see season 1, because it's not available, it was funny and interesting with the little Chibi characters and a little confusing.

Some first episode thoughts:Umaru is starting off from the get-go in a massive character overhaul. She understands her shortcomings to a degree and is actively trying to be a better friend to everyone including her brother. She's become far more dynamic and I think this might be the right turn for the series. She still has bratty impulses, but she is actively becoming a better character and enhancing the other characters around her. OP/ED is great as well, I'm really looking forward to how this season expands.Downside of course is the legal option to watch is on Anime Strike (owned by Amazon, which if you don't have a prime account at $100 a year, plus a $5 month up-charge for the channel) you're screwed. Sentai made kinda a crappy move on their end shafting other streaming services, but I'm hopeful Anime Strike will be worthwhile in the future.I was very pleased with the first episode, it's a fresh direction for the series and I'm sure this will be a great season.

This is a great anime and it has plenty of funny moments. WHEN is the Season 2 Blu-ray?(Update: Jan2023 - Season 2 is finally coming out soon on Blu-ray... took quite a while, but at least it's happening.)
