This book is life-changing!
Iโm so sad this book has any bad reviews! I bought it before having my 5th child after reading that Kate Middleton used the authorโs methods to get back into such great shape after having her firstborn. All I have to say is that they totally work! I never had such a wonderful recovery or had my body snap back into shape so quickly and so well. True, it is not a huge page-turner, but the detailed explanations about what happens to your organs, ligaments, bones, and muscles during pregnancy was fascinating and illuminating. A major emphasis in the book is giving your body the proper time to heal, as well as how and why it needs it. The toning exercises were pretty easy, and while at first I felt a little silly, they really worked to build a strong foundation for the moths ahead. I came to really appreciate all that my body had done and to give it the recovery it needed, and because I was letting it do what it needed to do, it yielded greater results in the shortest time of all my post-natal journeys. I recommend this book to all of my friends! I canโt say it enough, and anyone who witnessed my transformation can testify that it really works!

The book contains a lot of information and research. ...
The book contains a lot of information and research. However the book is too detailed and technical for people who are not in the health industry. The layout and the photos could be clearer and more illustrative.

Great book
I work as a Personal Training and have recently qualified as an ante & post natal specialist. I bought this book to suppliment what I learned on my course and it covers a great deal.It would also be useful to new mums returning to fitness or wanting to get fit for the first time.I would though, still recommend using a properly qualified PT, at least in the early days.

Only suitable for professionals
It is a good book. But it only suits yoga teacher or fitness instructors unless you have some sort of knowledge about the human body. I tried a couple of times but found that I need much more time if I really want to understand it. It is not idea for a busy mum of two like me especially one of them is a newborn.

Amazing book if you like to know the 'how' and 'why'
This book is amazing! I'm a personal trainer that's also completed a pre & post natal course which qualifies me to programme for these populations, but this book provided so much more info than the course did! If you like to know the how and why of things this is the book for you. I'm not content with just knowing that pregnant women get pelvic girdle pain, I need to know what is actually happening where and the forces involved.
