TROND USB Sound Card, Aluminum External USB Audio Adapter with 3.5mm Aux TRS Jack Stereo Headphone and Mono Microphone Jacks, C-Media CM100B Chipset, Black

I got this Soundcard as the headphone jack on my laptop stopped working. I have used cheaper USB Sound cards before but they were flimsy. This Trond one is very compact and sturdy and the sound is very clear with no hissing at all like I got on cheaper ones. It does partially block the USB port beside it, but all the USB soundcards do. There are no volume controls on the little device itself but I never use those anyway as I use the laptop volume controls. I would recommend this, it does the job very well.

What an excellent little gadget , surprisingly good sound. I used it to fix an issue with my soundcard whereby my Mic input wasn't working, one can use this device as well as an installed Souncard at the same time for either Mic in or Line out for headphones, my setup is that I use it for just my Mic input and my Internal Souncard for my Headphones.Very well made and Windows 7 64 bit instantly recognizes it and installs the drivers automatically.My only negative is that I felt that it is a bit Pricey when some Soundcards are the same price and have 3D sound etc.

My laptop earphone socket finally gave up after too many attempts by my children to balance the entire weight of the laptop on the inserted earphone jack. Looking at the cost of potential repairs left my eyes watering so I started looking for alternate solutions.This device is an effective alternative the to in-built earphone socket, as a USB device it is automatically detected by the computer (in my case a Windows 10). For me this automatically muted the speakers and, having a quick look at the audio settings, it sees this as a new soundcard. Sound quality is as good as the original earphone socket and I did a quick check and the line-in works fine as well.The device itself is well put together, with a solid metal body and the 2 sockets are a tight fit.My only comments, and hence the 4 stars, is that it is a little bulky attached to the machine, but not excessively so, it also felt a bit loose in the USB port, and, for me, does "waggle" about a bit more than I would like. Though this has not affected the quality of the sound.All in all a cheap and cheerful alternative to an expensive laptop repair.

After trying two other more expensive external audio connectors that installed software for some reason and atill did not work. I bought this in desparation and as a last resort. True plug and play and even has better sound quality than the slund card built into my computer. Go figure! Very happy and would buy from this seller again

Significant lack of bass compared to a normal soundcard... Does the job tho

Worked perfectly and well made. Had to return due to not needing it, returned it within a week, in perfect condition, in the original packaging and did not get a full refund. P and P is pathetic at £3.99.

Purchased this as the front audio sockets on my Windows 10 PC were only giving me Mono output.This item was literally plug and play, worked straight away with nothing to adjust. USB connection is not as tight as I would like but so far havenot encountered any problems

Convenient device for legacy systems or other devices that do not have dedicated headphone/microphone jacks. Also great as an inexpensive upgrade to older on-board sound where humming or magnetic interference disrupts the speakers and/or microphone connections.It needs no drivers for PC usage and is plug and play ready. Used it with a 4 pin TRRS jack (female) to 2 x 3 pin TRS plug (male) to connect a set of headphones with in-line mic to a PC and laptop.Works great, sound is clean and the microphone works well.Device itself is small and finished with an aluminum housing.

Un interfaccia perfettamente funzionante. In barba ad altri prodotti che svolgono la stessa funzione e costano 5/6 volte tanto. Da acqusitare sicuramente per chiunque abbia necessità di utilizzare microfoni, direttamente o passando attraverso un mixer, su un Mac di ultima generazione che non possiede ingressi microfonici.

Mein externes Ansteck-Mikrofon von Blusmart hat durch den Trond AC2 USB Audio-Adapter keine Störgeräusche mehr und hört sich endlich sehr gut an. Aus Spaß habe ich auch mal meine Kopfhörer an den Trond AC2 USB Audio-Adapter angesteckt, der Sound ist im Vergleich mit meiner Onboard-Soundkarte (!) um einiges schlechter. Daher: Nur für externe Ansteck-Mikrofone zu empfehlen, nicht für Kopfhörer. Mehr als drei Sterne gibt es von mir nicht.

Fonctionne immédiatement sur Raspberry sans problèmes après validation des services audio.Cela correspond exactement à ce que je souhaitais en input autant qu'en output.
