Hawkins Futura 5 Litre Pressure Cooker, Hard Anodised Inner Lid Pressure Cooker, Pan Cooker, Black (FP50)

I have had a two litre Futura for a year now, I had bought it specifically for our tiny campervan where space is an issue. Its performance was not only so pleasurable and effective it has become an essential part of the ‘batterie de cuisine’ at home. I finally decided to invest in the next size up hence the purchase of this 3 litre model. On checking there were not so many buying options available, probably because of Covid 19 supply issues. I sourced this one from Jeram Music, who have been a delight to deal with, it seems to be a family firm. I just love the idea of buying a saucepan from a firm with “music” in the name! The package was delivered on time but unfortunately the plastic cover to the metal handle was broken. Having contacted Jeram Music, the matter was resolved by Suraj who organised a replacement from their supplier and had it shipped to me overnight. This 3 litre and the 2 litre look great together on the shelf – worthy of MOMA where I believe they are represented

It’s wonderful pressure cooker . The material is very good made and strong . Cooking is very easy and clean also very easy.

The lid of this pressure cooker was extremely dirty, rusted and corroded! Returning is immediately, it is totally unsafe to consume food made from this product! Doesn't seem to be a new product, rather a heavily used item just packed and shipped to a client!

Amazing buy....cooks lentils in half the time for regular cookers, Trust me on this :). Nicely suited in kitchen and easy to clean. Can cook rice, meat, chicken, lentils, veggies...etc so almost everything in under 8 min(s)

Mixed feelings about this one. On a positive side: looks good, thick heavy material maintaining the heat rather well, the dishes worked out ok. On a negative side, the box it arrived in was moulded. Also, the cooking is somewhat more stressful as its hissing is different to more traditional pressure cookers, so I am always guessing whether it's going to explode or it's alright for this model. Ultimately, 5l is perfect for a family of 4, considering you can't fill in these cookers to the full. It fits average birds and briskets.

Love this product, my third in several years. And that’s because I cook a lot and need multiple cookers at the same time.

Works amazingly well ! Cooks fast and makes beans and chickpeas and tender in no time!

Heavy, very stylish and designed to release the steam easily. But this design comes with a cost that you don’t get any whistle at all! Once enough pressure built, it continuously releases the steam. So you would have to either stand there till its cooking or keep on checking and take chance. Not recommended, unless you are planning to be in kitchen full time.
