Schwarzkopf Live Color XXL L42 Luminance Infra Red Hair Colourant

Works good on dark hair, maybe too good in the roots, as it turned out almost orange. Maybe because I left it in my hair for longer than in the instructions. However, looks great and I'm happy with it. A shame can't find it at streer shops anymore...

I applied this over existing hair colour (live xxl Red Passion) and it came out brighter than any other Live colour product that i've previously used. Word of advice though - if you have coloured hair with natural roots coming through, the roots will turn a brighter red than the rest of your hair, as this product is specifically designed to lighten naturally brown/black hair. You can probably get around this by *not* applying colour to the roots first, but leaving them till last.

love this hair dye! I'm naturally really dark and have always found that home dyes just do not take to my hair and I really didn't want to bleach my hair and damage it so this was the perfect solution! didn't come out as bright as it is on the box but i didn't expect it to anyway! it's a really nice shade of red though :)

on brown hair it works perfectly, maybe if you want it to be a bit more read keep in the dye for more than 30minutes as the secod time i tried it turned out much better :)

It dyed my roots bright orange, and the rest of my hair is still completely dark brown. Unfortunately the lightening effect doesn't seem to work very well on darker hair.

This really works and dies my black red without a visit to the hairdressers or bleaching it first, which is such a better option for my hair and my pocket!

It died my hair from black, to orange... bright orange, I glow. It also gave me a beast of a headache for two day, I don't know whether that's just me or if it happens every time.
