Robbie is my favorite robot. A famous actor who has appeared in numerous films - The Forbidden Planet, The Invisible Boy, Gremlins and an episode of Lost In Space where he fought my second favorite robot the B9. This item is well made and is well detailed. Great fun for an old sci-fi fan.

The Word "Icon" Was Invented Because of Robby the Robot ... Or Maybe Not.
Recently I started a hobby collecting robots from sci-fi movies and TV shows and despite the fact that I've only got 7 robots so far, having Robby makes me feel like my collection is almost complete. He is not entirely movie accurate but most of the disparities are unlikely to be noticed by anyone but the most ardent of sci-fi enthusiasts. He is quite nicely detailed, limbs are not posable but he is not a toy (whether the Mrs believes it or not). He stands with pride keeping BB8 company, they're about to be joined by The Terminator.

Classic character
Arrived earlier then stated which was good, it can now be a Xmas present. It look good nicely booked.Classic character from a classic Si-fi film, which I have also bought.
