I'm amazed at the price for this plant
Absolutely brilliant thank you had to cut him out of original pot and potted him on more than happy 😁😁x

Fantastic if you don't live near a stockist
I was impressed with the packaging and the plant was reasonably healthy. So far so good. I thought the pricing was a bit high but as I live in a rural area with very few garden centres or nurseries stocking this plant I thought I had little choice (having already searched for stockist in my general area). Be aware of the stated height because that is what it is and the box is smaller as the plant is bent to reduce size of packaging. I have, however, found (by accident) that a Garden Centre that I visited had this variety at 2M+ for the same price. So do the Math (as our annoying allies say). I would definitely by this, and or other products from YouGarden if I cannot find locally as very convenient and quality product and packaging

Not as described, very disappointed
Nothing like as described, very small, not “established” I will never get plants from here again. As you can see from my image the plant looks nothing like the ones on the advertised page. On the pages it says the plants come as established bamboo measuring from 1.5 meters to 1.8 it arrived at a much smaller 60cm height with a random cut bamboo cane stuck in to the pot for reasons I can’t fathom.

Arrives very quickly 😃
Absolutely gorgeous, I was surprised when it so fast, it looks amazing, I cannot wait to plant it in our garden, it looks very healthy, lots of growth I was expecting something much smaller than what arrived, I am very happy.

Shabby plant in need of TLC
I was a bit disappointed with this plant. It is not as tall as described and quite shabby and pot bound, it was so tightly packed into the pot that I had to cut the pot off to get it out. Having said that it does have a tightly packed root ball and I am hoping that now it is in a bigger pot with good compost that it will thrive. I do feel that I paid a lot of money for a plant which quite frankly looks very much worse for wear with dead leaves and dry looking branches. I would like a replacement or my money back but am unwilling to pay again and put the plant in the post.

Stop your whingeing!
I read the reviews here and was surprised at the negativity. "Too small!" "Pot-bound!" "Tatty!" etc etc ad infinitum. I bought *one* of these plants in 2017. I remember it being dry and unimpressive upon delivery. Look at the attached photo and you'll realise that it has thrived beyond expectation -including having to be divided and potted, because it's a bit if a "runner" if planted directly in soil. Specimens like this have been seen in the local garden center at over £100 a pop. For a £28 investment over 6 years ago, we're doing very well out of it! Indeed, we're likely to split the two plants into four next Spring and let the cycle continue. The short version is: it's all in the long-term care of the plant as to whether this will work for you. No matter how it's packaged, it's initial size or the state of its roots, care in the long run will turn it into something pretty wonderful. Don't buy it if you're banking on instant gratification, in other words!

Nigra Bamboo just what I ordered!
Quick delivery and the plant is of adequate height and has lots of new side plants growing. Well packaged and was delivered before the stated date. Plant is a bit potbound but will repot it shortly. A lot cheaper than my nearest garden centre which has smaller plants and not so bushy as this one.
