These deluxe editions are absolutely STUNNING! I’m obsessed Lol Well worth collecting if you are a Potterhead like myself I will definitely splash out and collect all 7 I’m waiting for Prisoner of Azkaban to be delivered today, so excited I can’t wait. I’m an artist myself and fully appreciate how talented Jim Kay is. Beautiful work! I struggled to find more than 3 reviews of these books on YouTube and there are non at all of Goblet of fire as yet! But i am most likely going to buy this as soon as I’ve saved up! I definitely recommend these if you love Harry Potter and want something extra special ***** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great for any HP fan. Expensive, big, heavy book but worth it. Looks great outside and better inside with fantastic illustrations.

This is such a wonderful edition. I simply love it. Jim Kay made words come to life in his drawings. The books arrived really well packed and right on time. I can§t find any fault in this book.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: Deluxe Illustrated Slipcase Edition (Deluxe Edition) Although this book is not a cheap product, I must say it is a "must-have" for every fan of Harry Potter. The illustrations are very beautiful and the care in the preparation of the material is impeccable. I highly recommend it! I had already bought the first copy and I kept satisfied with this second.

This book is worth every penny. I bought all 4 of them and they are up there with my most prized possessions. Absolutely outstanding. Amazing.

Absolutley beautiful book! Very large, coffee table sized and presented in a matching slipcase make this one of my favourite versions of this book so far, not to mention the gold edged pages and amazing illustrations. I will even be keeping the matching shipping cardboard box for storage!

What an amazing book, a must have for every Potter fan. This is one of my favorite version. I can't image better illustrations. Tt's just perfect, I can't wait to buy the next book.

Für mich als Fan schöner Büchereditionen war auch Teil 2 der Deluxe Illustrated Editions von Bloomsbury ein Pflichtkauf. Der Inhalt ist identisch mit der normalen Chamber of Secrets Version und setzt die spannende Geschichte um Harry Potter nahtlos fort, jedoch hier in einer fantastischen und komplett illustrierten Aufmachung. Zugegeben, der Preis ist schon sehr stattlich, jedoch ist diese Ausgabe jeden Cent wert. Sowohl der Schuber als auch das eigentliche Buch sind sehr hochwertig (in Rot mit goldfarbenen Prägungen), mit 2 Lesebändchen im Buch (auch rot und gold). Die zahlreichen Illustrationen von Jim Kay sind zudem wunderschön. Zusätzlich liegt noch eine große Faltkarte der Winkelgasse bei (Die Fortsetzung zur Karte aus dem ersten Band). Hier noch anzumerken ist, dass auch das zweite Buch wieder sehr gut verpackt geliefert wurde (im eigentlichen Paket nochmal in einer bedruckten Pappverpackung), sodass es wirklich unversehrt und ohne Transportspuren ankam. Wer nicht soviel Geld für ein Buch ausgeben möchte, macht auch mit der "normalen" illustrated Edition nichts verkehrt. Hier ist die Aufmachung nicht ganz so schick, die Illustrationen dürften aber die Gleichen sein.

Quelle merveille ! Un livre magnifique, époustouflant ! Quelle claque !! Un coffret en tissus rouge embossé avec de la dorure, protégeant un livre du meme tissus rouge et aussi embossé par de jolies dorures. Les pages sont en papier glacé de très belle qualité, la tranche des pages est elle aussi dorée. J'avais des doutes sur le fait que l'intégralité du texte original puisse tenir malgré cette profusion de dessins merveilleux, et bien j'ai eu tord de douter car tout le roman est effectivement présent à l'intérieur de ce livre qui devient la référence des diverses éditions Harry Potter. Les illustrations de Jim Kay servent le récit de façon magique. Aucune page de cette édition n'est jamais complètement immaculée il y a toujours des petits dessins de ci de là, des taches d'encres, des illustrations prenant parfois plusieurs pages, des portraits incroyables bref... on est bien loin des éditions pingres de chez Gallimard, même leur édition soit disant deluxe valant une blinde d'occasion est complètement dépassée à tous les niveaux. Une leçon que devrait apprendre par coeur Gallimard. Oui ce livre est définitivement la plus belle édition de Harry Potter et la chambre des secrets de tous les temps, ceci est dit avec le plus grand sérieux et sans une once d'exagération, rangez toutes les autres, elles ne peuvent pas rivaliser. Un conseil, n'hésitez pas à prendre cette édition parce que le prix est élevé, car vous risquez à coups sûrs de le regretter quand ils vont devenir de plus en plus difficiles à trouver. A posséder absolument, que l'on soit fan d'Harry Potter, des beaux livres, de l'art de l'illustration....pour les galériens de la langue anglaise voici la façon la plus attrayante de vous y mettre un peu plus sérieusement, ne vous inquiétez pas trop c'est de la littérature pour la jeunesse, le niveau d'anglais à avoir n'est pas super foufou.
