Outstanding value fightpad
A very strudy and responsive fightpad, had no problems with inputs like I have with the dual shock 4, and I can play fighting games with confidence again so bonus, the only addition I would put to it is a sheet showing the button layout for the R3/L3 switch and how to remove/activate aim assist

Not ergonomic, but a great controller nonetheless
Without a doubt, a great hybrid option. I'm finding that the only support the right side of the controller gets is from the thumb. So mashing buttons down on your thumb does hurt.Let me just stress the importance of taking a break and stretching. Especially in fighting games. Even if it's to go and make a cup of coffee, giving your hands a rest every 30 minutes or so is really useful. Stretching them too. Look on YouTube for the best kinds of stretches, they help a lot.

Good Strong Pad
I bought this because I was thinking about getting a PS4, still haven't got one so I'm using this this with my PC, plug and play, no extensive set up required (just make sure you set the switch to PS3). Buttons feel strong I can pull off all of my moves on the D-Pad and all of the buttons are mappable for Emulators, unlike an X-Box controller where you lose the trigger buttons to the Z-Axis.

Competent controller but feels cheap
TLDR: It's an okay fightpad but feels cheap.I was in the market for a controller specifically for fighting games as I didn't want to spend the money for a proper fightstick, I remember seeing a few EVO competitors using fightpads so I thought I'd look into a few. This one caught my eye as I love the design and colour scheme, it does it's job well and took me a couple hours to readjust my muscle memory to this controller. The Dpad is more of a disc which allows for more fluid motions when doing quarter/half circles. However, this controller feels cheap, light, and may probably break under extensive use. The shape of the handles aren't ergonomic as they are angled rather than curved like most controllers. The disc Dpad also feels like it could go off center if it were to break, I would prefer if there were some sort of feedback when you hit a direction, maybe some slight bumps or an octagonal gate, just for the player to register that they've hit the direction. All in all, it's an okay fightpad which does it's intended job well. But I don't think I could recommend it to my friends or fellow fighting game enthusiast.

Wouldn't buy again...
It was working good but after a while felt less responsive to the point of being useless... the r2 and l2 are trigger like... so if you're using them on a fighting game takes forever to register the command as you have to pull it all the way down to activate it..

Good for the money
This has made playing Tekken and my other fighting games a smoother and more consistent experience... I only wish it had a headset jack. For the money though, very impressed, and the design looks good too.

Five Stars
better than the old mad catz one.

Much better than expected!
The d-pad is superb. The buttons are good. The analog stick and triggers are pointless and make the controller less comfortable than it should.Still a great fightpad for the money!I just wish they removed the pointless analog bits!!!

Very small dpad but overall, pretty good
I have a video of the controller up close on Youtube, just type in Dragon Slay along with my channel name SegaSaturnSNK. I also did a comparsion between the Mad Catz Fightpad Pro which I'm sure a lot of people assume are the same but they're not.Dpad is smaller compared to the Mad Catz but still a good pad. If you have small thumbs, it'll be perfect for you.

Totally worth trying out!
I bought this fight pad for a couple of reasons. One is my Hori was starting to show some signs of wear and tear from playing it fairly heavily over the last year or two. The Hori is a great pad, but the shape and overall feel in the hands never really won me over. The second reason is that I was very curious about the Madcatz fight pad design, but the bad reviews they got scared me off, making my discovery of this seem like a blessing from the fighting game gods themselves.I've been playing this for about a month now, trying it with a couple different games and styles. The way the controller feels in your hands, especially with the asymmetrical grips, is fantastic. I played Street Fighter V, the Soul Caliber 6 beta, Dragon Ball Fighterz, and Tekken with this pad and thoroughly enjoyed it. I even experimented with the claw grip a bit and could honestly see me using this pad in lieu of a stick from time to time.My only gripe is pretty small one. I wish that the actual thumbpad had some more grip to it. In the heat of battle, if my thumb would get a little slick, it could slip around a bit. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the pad so far. I have no clue what the durability down the road will be, but so far I'm confident to say it's the best pad I've used.

Small revisions compared to the original release...
I own 2 of these...one I've had for a few months, but is starting to show signs of degradation. Pretty much was the revised SFV Fightpad PRO, which had longevity issues.I just received my new one in the mail today. Slightly revised in some areas, such as smaller d-pad, bumpers are less clicky, and slightly more resistance in the analog sticks...same as two of the previous reviews. I'll also report back on my experiences with the controller. Still feels great, overall, and hopefully the revised d-pad is also built better than the original release.(EDIT - 12/3/18: Everything is still good with the d-pad. Life still seems plentiful, even after so much abuse.)
