This worked great for painting my doors and porch. I had no problems learning to assemble it and use it. I appreciate it costing under $40. This way if it broke, it wouldnt be alot of money lost, but it didnt break. It was also ez to clean! I used Acrylic paint. It was a great buy for what i needed. I highly recommend it.

Stained 200 feet of fence. Looks good and easy to use. The best part is the price. Just wish the bottle is a bit bigger so wouldn't have to refill so often but it's all good

I suspect some of the low reviews are just due to people who didn’t read and follow the instructions. I did, and this thing worked great! I just painted an exterior door on my house. The ease of use and finish came out great. I found it pretty easy to clean. I am planning to use it to paint other details in my home’s exterior. This is my first paint sprayer experience and I 10/10 recommend.

Very happy with this sprayer, great for small jobs and is fairly priced, offering good quality. I sprayed my front of my house on areas needed and it was quick, easy and covered the area very well with a matching paint blend. And just to add, I never painted my house before.

This sprayer works so well, with almost zero clogging (except for some dried paint on the nozzle). I'm very pleased with the ease & time saved.

I bought this to use on a chicken coop I am building. Basically a plywood box that's 8x4x4. I used Glidden outdoor latex paint. Glidden advises to use without thinning when using spray guns. Following the instructions, I knew that was not possible as the viscosity was much too thick based on the test using the cup provided. I thinned the paint with water. I do have experience with painting cars from long time ago, so I am familiar with proper technique when using a spray gun. I also tested this sprayer with just water against a wooden fence. It atomized water very well. It also did well enough with thinned latex paint, but you cannot stop for more than a few minutes due to the nature of the paint. Given my experience with painting the chicken coop, I would not buy this sprayer again. At least not for a project which involves outdoor spraying and latex paint. It was a waste of time and paint. The paint can was rated for 400 square feet of coverage. I used more than half to paint 128 square feet. I has to refill the gun 3, each time rushing to mix the paint with water, before paint starts to dry inside the sprayer. Afterwards, I had spent at least 30 minutes cleaning the sprayer. I disassembled it and used a garden hose to clean everything. I will say, that the sprayer is very easy to disassemble and clean. Regardless, it still takes time to get all the paint cleaned off. For my project, it would had been faster to use a roller and I would had used much less paint. Only thing I imagine this sprayer would be good for is acrylic type paints or oil based stains. I could see using it to stain a fence with an oil based stain. I can also see someone using it to paint farm equipment or do a poor man's DYI paint job on a car.

I was orepared to spend hundreds on a sprayer to get a nice finish on my new baseboards and trim. After watching a couple youtube videos I decided to give this sprayer a try before shelling out the big bucks. I couldn't be happier with this sprayer. It's very simple to use for small jobs. I also bought some disposable cup liners and cleanup is super quick and easy. Very few parts to the whole thing. Operation is smooth and quiet, about like a hair dryer. I'm using Behr Premium Cabinet, Door, and Trim Enamel. I added Floetrol for latex paint in the amount recommended for sprayers and thinned with water until the viscosity was at the recommended amount in the sprayer guide. I then used an included disposable filter to poor into the cup. I think getting the viscosity right is probably key to a successful experience. It's a simple process of scooping some paint into the included viscosity cup and timing how many seconds for it to drain. Just add water until it drains at the recommended rate. I haven't had any clogs. It's so easy to clean I just put a lid on the cup and clean the unit between coats rather than trying to just cover the nozzle as some users suggest. There's a few youtube videos that demonstrate how simple it is to use and clean. If your not making a living as a professional painter this is probably worth a try before you buy a high end unit. The results are impressive.

The rating is not really about the product. It could be great for all I know. It was advertised on Amazon UK but the device is for US users with US voltage and US plug so a non-starter in the UK.
