Solid Spikes Set of eight HiFi Speaker Spike Shoes

Very quick delivery. The product is well made and looks good. The only flaw I've found, is that the spike shoe is a little smaller than I would have liked. I say this, as although it protects my wooden floors from the speaker stand spike, its size doesn't necessarily spread the load of the stand spike without causing a slight indentation in the wooden floor. Having said that, I prefer the slight indentation as opposed to the spike hole. I just wonder if a slightly larger spike shoe, might have spread the load better and obviated the indentation.

Good quality. Does what it says in the description but the part that in contact with the (wood) floor is bare metal. I also had to purchase some soft furniture pads to stick on the metal protectors so the floor was protected. I think these protective pads should have come with the purchase.

You know what, I'd intended to buy big spike shoes and mistook these things for being 1.5" across because that was what I saw when I clicked the thumbnail for a large picture (somehow I didn't read the descriptions). Initially disappointed and not knowing what to do with them, I experimented them by cementing them under a pair of Tivoli boxes with double-sided tape, one for every corner. The next thing, I heard remarkable sonic improvements. They did a mu.........much better job than the rubber feet I had. It's a nice experience, one that I've never thought I could have from these small things (1.7cm dia.).

As an upgrade I got these for my speakers on spiked stands and tiled fireplace. The sound seems tighter and more focussed to me after a few weeks of listening. Maybe it's wishful thinking but it sounds like a definite improvement.

Way cheaper than other alternatives.Not sure why these can be found for such high prices???I use this for some Dali Zensor speakers on really nice metal stands. Our flooring is wooden so this is a god send.

it is usefull but quality is a little low

These do a great job - they're big enough to make it easy to manoeuvre the spikes in, and the deep groove makes sure that the speaker spikes won't come out easily. However, they're also small enough to practically disappear under my speaker stands. Now I don't need to worry about putting spike holes in the wooden floor of the house I am renting!

Does the job, floors don't get scratched I can move the heavy floor standers with relative ease.. And maybe my ears are playing tricks, but I think these helped improve the sense of depth the speakers exude..
