Avon Clearskin Blemish Clearing Peel Off Mask with Salicylic Acid

This product is absolutely fantastic in general. I normally buy it directly from Avon, but I needed it with next day delivery so I decided to see if it was in Amazon.The packaging was fine, same as always, but the actual mask inside was very separated and watery. It took a good ten minutes of shaking it to get it to combine properly. Then, I couldn't open the thing! Having to find my father and ask him to open a bottle definitely set us back in the gender equality race lol.As long as I give it a really good shake before using it, it's absolutely fine. But the tube is still really difficult to open.I'd say it seemed like a much older tube of it. Perhaps it was an over order or something.All in all, I highly recommend the product itself, but just be aware that you will need to really shake it and have a pair if scissors at the ready to stab your way into it.

I have acne prone skin which is mostly under control with Retin-A and salicylic products, but still the occasional spot here and there. I thought this would be a useful addition to my skincare routine as my normal anti-acne mask (Queen Helene Mint Julep) had run out.The mask is quite runny and easy to spread on your face, and the dried layer is easy (and satisfying) to peel off. However, after 6 weeks usage this has not made any difference to my face at all. My previous mask had a temporary but pleasing pore-tightening effect and helped clear any active acne quickly. This mask did none of those things and any blemishes were not reduced at all after using this.It also did not make my skin worse in any way so, may be worth a try. In my opinion there are better masks and better salicylic products available that give me great results.
