These grommets are well made and fit nicely in the head stock. If you are using vintage GOTOH tuners you will have to enlarge the center holes a small amount this is not a hard job. You need screws with bigger heads to tie the tuners together because the spacing is different than vintage instruments. They look very right for any version of a Telecaster type guitar and the tuners themselves hold tune very well. There are other grommets you can get that are supposed to work without modification. If they do or not I do not know.

Used these bushings to put vintage sized tuners into a modern Squier Mustang headstock. Worked perfectly. Bushings went into headstock snugly, very slight interference fit which is just what I wanted. Highly recommend.

I bought a jazzmaster online where someone had installed these horribly ugly black Schaller tuners. I knew i wanted to return to the classic Fender vintage style but the peg holes had been drilled out to 10mm to fit the Schallers. I ordered these hoping theyd fit but half expexting there to be some issue (which always happens when im DIY fixing guitars. These were very tight - in fact i believe theyre 10.5 mm, but i used some good pliers and gentle but firm pressure they slid in nicely. The fits is so tight I hope i never need to take them out because it’ll be tough. But i got some vintage style tuners and the for and look is totally perfect. I think even if this set of tuners were to need replacement i’d be fine with these bushings.

These are very good conversion ferrules to go from modern to vintage tuners. Good value, no sloppiness!

I like the open back - I like seeing the mechanical workings of the tuners. Fitted them to my Blueridge BR-180, perfect fit and operation.

Boccole indispensabili se volete montare meccaniche vintage su paletta con fori da 10mm. Il diametro esterno é leggermente inferiore al dovuto. Sono riuscito a montarle solo perché ho riverniciato la paletta e lo spessore aggiunto della vernice è bastato allo scopo. Il diametro interno é inferiore al dovuto, probabilmente perché le meccaniche vintage, nel mio caso Kluson Deluxe, hanno misura imperiale. Ho usato una lima tonda e tanta pazienza ottenendo un risultato ovviamente approssimativo. Valutate voi...

5 Star for quality and appearance. Unfortunately though, I made a mistake with my measurements - A word of warning to people trying to use these to fit Kluson tuners, they won't fit! You'll need 0.65 size fittings and not these which are made for different vintage tuners. That was my fault for not reading though and no fault to the product. Overall, very nicely made and if you fit them, you can tell they will last. Price is competitive and they work exactly how they should (if you measured right!). Arrived on time and had no issues with the purchasing.
