Good basic introduction to sewing .

I bought this a year ago for my little sister who is a keen sewer. It was probably aimed at a bit younger than she was but was perfect for her starting out and she managed to tweak some of the patterns to make her own. She had a lot of fun with this and has now passed it on to my other little sister.

This was quite helpful but limited things to do than I would have preferred.

Bought this as an Xmas gift for our granddaughter who's just started learning to use her first sewing machine.

Seems to be a good beginners guide.

Ordered this and "My First Sewing Book" by same author, they are exactly the same book for 3/4's of the pages. So other one is better for beginner as the things you can make are more useful and straightforward.Content an guidance are great for beginners, but a little light for the price.
