Winsor & Newton Classic A3 Cold Pressed Water Colour Paper Gummed Pads

I'm somebody that tends to do a lot of layers in paintings. I also tend to use both sides in order to save money! I wanted a watercolour paper that's resilient and has a beautiful finish. This paper performs really well and looks lovely. You can use a lot of layers of paint/water, but it doesn't go through to the other side.

This product was recommended by our art tutor. It is the best paper for watercolour I have ever used.

Not the best but definitely not the worst paper I use, can feel like the paint is skidding sometimes. On the whole better than average and a good go to paper.

An excellent professional A3 size cold pressed W&N gummed watercolour paper pad at a great price. Much cheaper than some of the other less than good papers. Holds heavy washes without the paper buckling. Not only ideal for watercolour paint it is perfect for the W&N Watercolour Marker Pens as well as with mixed media. I use this paper all the time, it is a great value too.

Although I have a cheap watercolor collection from my small brother who was at the time in 4th grade, it makes the colors look great and is very good for layering colors to create depth. Absorbs water very quickly.

Really liked this pad! Excellent surface and workability for watercolour and I have already used all the sheets. I even used one for acrylics with excellent results. I will definitely buy this product again.

It’s good weight and surface is excellent but at the top of the description it says it is a gummed pad- mine isn’t - it’s just a pad of ( good)paper.

Ho comprato questa carta giusto per provarla, ma ben presto mi sono ritrovata innamorata. Ha la texture praticamente uguale alle carte in cotone come arches e fabriano artistico. Non ha la texture che di solito le carte in cellulosa hanno quella che sa di economico. I colori rimangono brillanti, si stratifica bene e si riesce a controllare il colore molto bene ed accuratamente. Perfetta per lavori di precisione anche se è ruvida. Se a voi piace fare disegni astratti con l'acquerello però non ve la consiglierei perchè il colore non si espande tanto. La carta si imbarca,ma niente di tragico o irrimediabile. Uso questa carta praticamente sempre! Ve la consiglio vivamente!

Buon blocco di fogli a3 per acquerello anche se tendono un po' a piegarsi con tecniche molto bagnate.

Con mia figlia che frequenta il liceo artistico se non avessi Amazon sarei sempre in giro a cercare materiali...
