Great for splitting wood with a wedge
Perfect for splitting wood with a wedge , has a long handle so for taller people, good weight ratio , would recommend.The rubber around the neck of the handle came off (split) but doesn't effect performance.

Brilliant size/weight...
Just the right size and weight hammer. It's a DIY sledge hammer, a bit too big for camping. Sturdy and solid. I used it so far for splitting logs with a wedge. Recommended.

Handle exploded
There is only one reason why I am rating this sledge hammer 2 stars and that is because after only a couple of uses the shaft on the hammer sort of exploded which left me with fiberglass splinters in my hand
