I've had salted caramel nuts in the past (whilst in the US) and they were different - like more salt and sprinkled sugar however these were more stickier - like the sugar has been melted onto the nuts. Not that I'm complaining - it was unexpected but totally enjoyable. There must have been a change in manufacturing, as although the peanuts look delicious and moreish covered in lots of caramel - looks are deceiving.The first thing you get when you put one in your mouth is salt. You crunch down on the peanut - more salt. You chew up the peanut - even moar salt, with maybe an aftertaste of peanut. At no time do you get any sweetness, let alone caramel. All you get is salt.
