Fun for toddlers
Huge hit with the toddlers and keeps them occupied. The song can become obnoxious for adults, but it’s a great toddler toy.

The crab amuses the baby and the dog... worth the money imo.
Bought this for my 8 month old granddaughter. This little crab is so cute. We have not used the music function because the lights and movement are enough to grab and keep her attention. He is fast so he frequently scuttles out of her sight and she goes looking for him. That said, I think she likes him. My pomeranian thinks he's fun too. I guess I should have gotten 2 of them! I thought the speed should be adjustable, at the crawling stage there is no way a baby could keep pace enough to keep him sight, however, she is interested enough to look for him and she's amused when he suddenly pops back into her sight line. I did wonder about pinched little fingers with this toy but he moves fast enough she can't catch him. Also, the way his legs and gears are made it would be extremely difficult to pinch fingers. He is lightweight so it doesn't take much to knock him over. I read reviews saying he doesn't work well on carpet. I have a thick wool area rug in the living room and he works find on that, though if he goes off the rug he cannot get back onto the rug. The same is true for the thinner berber type area rugs I have under the dinette and dining room tables. The little crab amuses the baby and the dog, I think he's worth the money.

Fun but loud
This crab is so fun but it's loud and there's no way to turn the volume down or off. I bought it for my 3.5 year old but my almost 6 year old and 8 year old also enjoy it. It looks like it does in the pictures and works as well as it should. The on/off switch is in an inconvenient place because when the legs are going, it's hard to flip the switch.

Yes and No
I recently got the Crawling Crab Baby Toy for my little one, and it's been an interesting addition to our playtime. There are several aspects that make this toy both enjoyable and a bit frustrating. Firstly, the Crawling Crab is undeniably cute and engaging. Its colorful design and playful movement captivate my baby's attention, encouraging crawling and interactive play. It's a great tool for promoting motor skills and keeping my baby active. The build quality of the toy is quite good. It feels durable and can withstand the inevitable drops and bumps that come with baby play. The crawling motion is smooth, and the crab moves at just the right speed to keep my baby entertained without getting frustrated. However, the major drawback of this toy is the music feature. While the cheerful tunes can add to the fun, the inability to turn off the music without turning off the toy entirely is a significant downside. There are times when we prefer a quieter playtime, and the constant music can become a bit overwhelming. A volume control or mute option would greatly enhance the usability of this toy. In summary, the Crawling Crab Baby Toy has its strengths in engaging and encouraging movement for babies. Its vibrant design and durable construction are commendable. However, the lack of control over the music feature can be a major annoyance. Despite this, it's still a fun toy that provides plenty of entertainment and developmental benefits, but it would be greatly improved with better sound control options.

Annoying, but entertaining for my child
I bought this little crab as a way to keep my baby entertained and to help with his development during his first few months of life. These have been my impressions so far: Price: pretty reasonable price. The toy did not break the bank, and while I saw other options with lower prices, the higher rating from people made me decide to go for this particular choice. Material: all-plastic construction. The plastic does feel flimsy in some parts of the toy, but then again, considering the price, costs has to be cut somewhere. Visual appeal: this is definitely a toy that will catch the attention of your little one. They are made for babies, after all, and they "look at me" factor is definitely built into this toy. Downsides: This toy is endlessly annoying for adults, at least it is for me, and the only reason I keep it is because my baby is fascinated with it. For whatever reason, this toy comes with its own charging input instead of micro USB or USB C. If you lose the cable, you will have no way of charging the toy. The toy itself loses charge pretty quickly, and takes a long time to recharge. The legs tangle easily. One more thing, there is no control for the volume. It will ALWAYS play at high volume as soon as you turn it on, and that is it. The only way to control the music is to turn the toy itself off.
