This new Gerry Rafferty hits collection features "Stuck In The Middle With You," with Stealers Wheel, as well as his solo hits "Baker Street," "Right Down The Line," "Home And Dry" and "Days Gone Down." The collection features seven US and UK single edits, six of which have never been available on CD. In addition, the album includes two non-LP single B-Sides "Big Change In The Weather," and "In Transit." Neither of those have ever been available on CD.

What's not to like about a 'radio' version of the great Gerry Rafferty?
Gerry Rafferty, the most under-rated singer-songwriter of the late 70's and early 80's. This CD is unique in that it is the 'radio edit' versions that you heard on the radio, or had on your '45', rather than the longer (and superb) LP versions. All his US and UK radio hits are here. I also want to give props for the excellent 'artwork' on the CD and case. It very closely resembles Gerry's music on vinyl here in the USA when he was on the United Artists record label with the 'orange-colored sky' clouds on the CD and case. The title is taken from the fact that he was one of the last artists on the United Artists label before the crazy sales and mergers of record companies. I've heard many of these shorter radio versions before, but the audio quality on "Home and Dry" sounds better than previous versions that I've heard. These are all great songs, and one that many have missed is "The Royal Mile" - his last US Billboard HOT 100 charting song has an infectious beat to it, and will become a new favorite if you haven't heard it already. This is a must-buy for fans of the late-great Gerry Rafferty. Rumor has it that his daughter will be producing an album of her Dad's unreleased songs for us to enjoy later in 2017. So, fans of Gerry: your collection needs not only the LP's "City to City" and "Night Owl" but this collection as well. Money well spent, in my opinion. Check out the track listing- great songs- sound is good, treble might be a little higher than expected, but produced well. Long live the music of Gerry Rafferty!
