Had to send it back. Kept shutting off. Pretty design. A bit cumbersome and bulky for window assembly. Made me re-think of using a plain old window AC. Also appeared to arrive used and not brand new out of the box.

This unit was purchased to cool the master bedroom in a home with a single central air system. Previously, I have owned other portable A/C units. The quality of the device is so poor, I can only imagine that there was miscommunication between the parent company and its Chinese supplier.When first installing the unit, I noticed cracks and actual plastic missing on the hose flange that connects to the back of the unit. I was never able to find the missing piece, so I assumed it was lost at the factory. There was also large crack across the flange, which I taped up. What was more horrifying, however, is that the blower fan (i.e. squirrel cage), had a broken blade on it. It was just luck that I even saw the problem as I was attempting to insert the hose into the flange. This strikes me as quite amazing as it must have been installed broken and the device never even tested. It is improbable that this could have been broken in transit.Overall, the quality of this unit is atrocious, making the appliance a potential safety hazard.
