I tested the product for the first time and took notes. Astragalus is a very important product due to its effect on telomeres. This is the third time I have bought this product, and I have changed my preference.

The capsules are large and hard to swallow, so I have to open them and drink the powdered herb in milk or a tea. The tea is a fairly rank taste, but milk masks the taste, albeit it being goat's milk, which some people think is rank on its own! The actual herb works well in boosting the immune system, as evidenced yesterday when it zapped in two doses the start of my son's sore throat and headache. One further comment, the bottle was all sticky on the outside when I received it. I think it was due to rather over-enthusiastic gluing of the label. It wiped off okay with a damp cloth, so no harm done.
