PVC Junction Box with Hinged Lid 240 x 190 x 90 mm Waterproof Universal Fit Protection Rating IP56 Electrical Cable Connection Outdoor Use

I purchased this to house a 12V LED Transformer in the garden for some lighting. Quality is really good and drilling holes for input was easy as mounting the transformer on some glued in wooden supports I installed. Screwing to the post to mount was easy and the box didnt flex across corners as others I have used have. The lid fits snuggly and is water tight after beign checked a couple of times since. Only thing is the hinge part, I am not sure this works as advertised although not an issue for me it might be for those that definately need this option.

Bought this to serve as a outdoor enclosure / junction box for a mains electricity based job. The box is well made and very robust with lots of built in ribbing / struts. It drills fairly easily with metal drill bits (rather than wood bits). I can't speak regarding it's longevity in keeping the weather out but so far so good with the lid having a weather proof / rubber seal built into it. I personally added some clear sealant around the edges of the outside rim just to make sure and here in Northern Ireland it rains pretty much constantly including last night when we had a serious amount of rain with a weather warning so if it's keep that amount of rain out then I am happy. For the money paid I believe I got good value for money and it's a excellent enclosure for whatever project you happen to need it for. I can recommend it.

Great value for money, nice and big, using the box to house a router outdoors allowing access to the Web in our large garden. The box seems to be holding up well to the weather and have no water ingress even after some really heavy rainfall. Would recommend.

I bought this after looking out for the right size with a good lid, not for a junction box but for an instrument case for a bluetooth amplifier which I built. It's easy to work with, and looks the muts nuts when the leds and knobs are fitted! Obviously it's not needed to be waterproof but bought it as its sturdy and strong and the right size. I'll certainly buy another if I need to build any more projects! Recommended for nearly any purpose you need a good quality and/or waterproof box for.

I have used two of these boxes to enclose electrical components (a heating relay and lighting relays) for projects in our home. They are sturdy and weatherproof. Very good value compared to alternatives available from DIY outlets.

Very easy to fit in my garage to hide low voltage cables. The only thing wrong was the access lid was not hinged but that did not hamper me from doing what I needed to do.

It’s a good value box. A bit flexible however seems OK for my use which is under cover. Pleased with the purchase

Pretty good box. Handy function that allows you to open lid whist being also retaining it on either side using two of the partially slackened screws. It is not really a hinged door but does give you some ability to do so. Thanks for a decent enclosure and a decent price.

Es compacta y resistente. Bastante limpia interior y exteriormente (sin dibujos). Utilizada para hacer un cuadro auxiliar de máquina agrícola.

La scatola si presenta di ottima fattura e robustezza, ci sono diverse opzioni di fissaggio sia per l'ancoraggio a parete e sia per il montaggio dei componenti elettrici con diversi fori opportunamente distribuiti. Il sistema di apertura è molto comodo e consente di mantenere 2 viti di chiusura utilizzandole come "cerniere". In dotazione ne ho trovate 5, quindi ce n'è anche una di riserva.

Colisage parfait, livraison rapide, avant la date prévue. Testé sous l eau du robinet, aucune entrée d'eau. Parfait pour une fixation extérieure sur un mur. Pas cher, grand volume, la marque Legrand est devenu assez cher pour pas beaucoup mieux. Prévoir des press étoupes en parti inférieur pour la sortie des câbles, traçage non dessiné ou préformé. Avec une petite scie cloche ce sera parfait. Je suis chef de chantier électricien, très bon produit pour un tarif canon. Je recommande pour ceux qui ont des outils adaptés, sinon achetez une boîte de dérivation avec des tétines intégré.
