Unstable but effective
Pros:- Very simple and easy to use- Heats up fast- On/Off switch- Compact- Includes 50 glue sticks- Fits back into original box nicely- Low priceCons:- Slight leakage- Trigger only pushes stick half way in; you'll have to use a pencil or your finger- Wire 'stand' is useless; unless you have a separate holster or stand of your own, it will just tip over onto its side, or be weighed down by the power cable and slip off the table onto the floorFor the price, this isn't a bad little glue gun, if you only need it for a few odd jobs or adult craft projects. Otherwise, I would recommend investing in a sturdier model that's safer for kids, or can stand the test of time when it comes to frequent use.I don't see myself getting through all fifty glue sticks before the thing falls over and sets my house on fire, but it worked out just fine for my intended purpose, so overall I'm happy enough with this product.

Handy size tool, easy to use and an endless resource for all the family to repair. create and enjoy.
Simple and easy to use. We have fixed a multitude of items around the house and the use for arts and crafts is endless. The gun is small so easy for stubby/small/petite hands to use. My 11 year old granddaughter used it to make some small boxes in an advent type project. The glue holds really quickly so be sure you have it positioned correctly. ensure there is a pad under the gun when in use and standing as the occasional drop of glue can be caught safely. The trigger is very smooth and slotting in the glue sticks is simple. This is not a toy and is extremely hot so please take care. Adult supervision always and have loads of fun creating. My partner has found excuses to be able to use this gun, from repairing the saddle on his bike to creating a hat with camouflage without a single stitch needed. So not just for kids craft it is a real tool that can stand up with those larger models.Very handy size that can fit in your bag.Just in case you break a heel... Don't be fooled by the size this is a tool that belongs in anyone's set.We really enjoy creating with this little bundle of joy. We have some sticks from purchase still remaining, best to keep stocked up and experiment with colours and variations of glue sticks for this little gem.

Functional but feeding the stick through is a pain
I've had two of these glue guns before - or guns that look almost exactly the same, with very small differences. They've served me well and, after I killed my last one probably through extensive overuse, I ordered this one to replace it. It was cheaper than my old one, so perhaps that should have given a clue that it wouldn't be the same, but the picture looked pretty damn near to the one I had before. And with 50 glue sticks included, it seemed like a steal. So the first difference noticed was the 'on' light - there isn't one! So that threw me somewhat, as I had no idea that it was on until I touched the tip. My other, near-identical gun had this feature which is quite useful when your glue gun is malfunctioning or, as is easy to do on this model, you accidentally switch it off and can't fathom why your glue isn't heating properly! The second difference was the glue stick feed - it's utterly useless. You're supposed to push the new glue stick through, might need to give it an extra nudge before it catches and then click, click and you're back in business. Nope. The alignment is off - and it's a fixed plastic component so no ability to adjust this - so the glue sticks don't marry up with the chamber. So you not only have to stick your fingers on the open part of the barrel to try and align it, but then push to feed a few times before it catches. If you just need the glue gun for a very small job then this is unlikely to affect you. If you practically consume glue guns for hours at a time, this will become problematic for you and will make you bang your head in frustration. Today I had that kind of day. I remedied it by bringing on board a second glue gun (a Bosch one) which I don't much care for but at least you can feed in glue sticks easily. If you need something cheap and don't need to use these regularly, then this is excellent value. If you're a glue gun addict, then you may want to give this a miss.

hot glue gun and glue sticks
these glue sticks and glue gun are just what is needed, though the nozzle on the glue gun could be a bit smaller. I am making Bridal bouquets out of fabric and gluing small beads are a bit tricky. The Glue holds the fabric very well and quickly. The gun is easy to use but i hadnt realised being left handed the on/off switch is on the left side, therefore i turn if off sometimes. If you are right handed it shouldn't be a problem. All in all it is a very handy piece of of equipment and i can use it for making cards and all other craft ideas that i have.

Nice tool for crafting and home use
Fairly easy to use and work with although substituting the glue sticks needs to be with a fair amount of strength as they are difficult to insert. Once you are able to insert them, it works well and doesn't take too much time to heat and melt the glue. After disconnecting from the plug, glue starts it's solidification promptly and not long after is cold enough for you to store it away. It's easy to use by a supervised child but you need to be careful as the top part of the gun can get very hot.Have used it for crafting, small patches on furniture, on support for cables and on toys.Made of what seems to be durable, quality plastic, although only have used it for the past 6/7 weeks. I do recommend it, attending to the quality/price.

Bit flimsy/fidgety but okay for casual use
Bit fiddly but you get what you pay for I guess! Bought for some small craft projects, had a hard time getting some of the glue sticks in, the stand was really wobbly so didn't really hold the gun upright when not in use resulting in a lot of wasted glue but for the price can't complain too much, if using more than once or twice I'd recommend a different product but fine for super casual use.
