Garden Village Triple Wheelie Bin Store

Fairly easy to put together however I find the middle lid difficult to open and close as I cannot reach!

The builder who put down a concrete and paving stone base for it (which I think is essential - it shouldn't stand on soil) assembled it plus the double storage surround because I've got 5 bins. It is bolted to the paving stones. It is stained dark green and is unobtrusive in a privet hedge. It looks good and neighbours have commented favourably. It's made of softwood so the doors hang down a bit, but lifting them allows for the bolts to be pushed home. I only bother to use the upper door bolts.The main problem is that it is far from waterproof. The lids slant down side to side so rain water runs to the side of the lids and then under the lids into the bin storage area. I put a rubber seal all the way round the five lids and it didn't help at all. Rain also gets in between the slats of the whole structure. With rain and wind, the walls and lids can be soaked inside with small puddles on the paving stones. This probably means applying a wood preservative inside every two years or so.It's a bargain at the price. I think the good looks and bargain price compensate for having to apply a wood preservative.

Once assembled it’s good if a little warped in places, but the instructions are terrible with no explanation as to what the different size screws are for and why they sent such a random number of each.

I hate the look of wheelie bins, so this looked ideal for us. Well hidden and out the way.We costed what it would cost to make and this way is a lot cheaper.We had an issue with delivery as I needed to be at home to take the delivery, so I emailed the guys who were selling it and they were great, rearranged the delivery date and time to suit me, at no extra costCame really well packed.My husband put it together in around an hour.Really good strong wood, nails and fittings.Looks really good and does the job.Would defiantly recommend and if I had to buy again I would.Well Done!

Although I got someone to put it together, that was always going to happen.The finished result is exactly what I was wanting, looks good and everyone comments.So pleased to be able to hide the wheelies behind something so fine !Dianna

Really nice storage unit, plenty of room for the 240L wheelie bins. Instructions are quite clear, and it is quite simple to make. It did take quite a few hours to make and lining up the lids and doors was a little tricky. A good buy.

Just the job, and spacious. Usefully, at groundlevel there is no threshold/crosspiece (brackets can bolt uprights to hardstanding), so no hindrance to wheeling the bins in and out.

Well made and easy to follow instructions just make sure you have a level base and you should not have any problems. The only thing I would suggest would be that you buy six extra brackets for the top front inside corners to make it more rigid.It also turned up within a week
