PCOS: A Woman's Guide to Dealing with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Good simple chapters
This book feels like it is talking to you. The advantage of a book written by Colette Harris, is she actually has PCOS.I bought, along with a lot of others, this book when I was first diagnosed with PCOS. It is very easy to read and it was the one I started with. A useful set of 12 chapters that cover what PCOS is, how our body works and your lifestyle (among others). I can't say this book will change your life but it will help you get an understanding of the professional information available elsewhere. It is not a substitution for a diagnosis but will help you understand what is going on with your body. The time I found this book most helpful, although I do dip into it every now and then, is when I was first diagnosed.

This book was in great condition, despite being used
This book was in great condition, despite being used. It's very informative, and helps me to understand the ins and outs of PCOS, Which I have been recently diagnosed with, so I wanted a book that would help me understand the condition better, and what different steps I could take to lessen the symptoms of PCOS, and this book has delivered. I highly recommended to any women diagnosed with the condition or a loved one of someone with PCOS.

A great read for anyone with PCOS
everything you need to know about PCOS and even if you thought you knew everything I'd recommend this book as you might be surprised. Bought is used and described as Like New, which it was. My daughter was really happy to be able to sit and go through this in her own time. Sometimes a book is so much better than just reading a screen on your PC.

OK book
This book is written for those who know nothing about PCOS, rather than those who would like more up to date information to manage the condition. I returned it for a refund as I didn't find it helpful, however I would recommend it to those who are newly diagnosed who want to know more

During tests before beginning ivf, i was informed that i have pcos. My hormone levels are over 90 (normal range is 15-30) needless to say, i was devastated. This book made me feel like i was not alone and validated the way ive felt for a decade. Well written. Thanks
