I have been looking for one of these pillows for a while now... I am so pleases that I bought it, from the first night of resting my head on it I have slept soundly, it also helps knowing that these are so good for the environment too! they really are the 'perfect pillow'. With the offer I received 2, so 1 went on my daughters bed, she loves it! (for an eye rolling, tutting, mardy adolescent this is quite an achievement) :) they crackle a little bit, but like a previous review I read, I find it soothing and soon get used to it, The pillow also fits in a standard pillow case and squidges up nicely... I found the amount of buckwheat husk to my liking, but could easily be removed to suit. Delivery was super fast too.Positives1. extremely comfy2. Made in the UK3. Good for the environment4. Fast delivery5. Happy teenagerThe only negative comes from the cat... he hates it (no more fighting over pillow space)... so all in all a good nights sleep.

I purchased a meditation cushion and mat filled with Buckwheat hulls some time ago and found this very comfortable so I thought I would try the pillow.In the mornings I often awake with a stiff neck and headache and have tried various orthopaedic shaped and silicon gel pillows in the past. Even if they initially were helpful, eventually they flatten some and I end up with a stiff neck again. From night one this has been extremely comfortable, I am sleeping better and waking without a sore neck or head. You can shape ( and reshape) the pillow to whatever is comfortable and if the contents get do get a bit flattened at any stage, it is refillable! ( my meditation cushion is 18 months old, I haven't had to refill that yet and sadly my bottom is far heavier than my head!). Brilliant - I love it.

I had despaired of finding a replacement for my microbead pillow and it was getting flatter every night. I was having yet another attempt and noticed that Buckwheat pillows were being compared to microbead pillows but getting better reviews. I decided after much research to give them a try.The pillow is quite heavy and has quite a funky smell but after a few days this reduced considerably. They are full size pillows and fit into standard pillowcases quite easily. They came in two boxes so could be split if being wrapped as gifts. The calico appears to be very strong and goof quality.The pillows make a crunching noise when your head first rest on them - a bit like scrunching corn flakes in a bag. They do continue to make a slight noise whenever you move your head but it is much reduced after the initial contact. I find a slight poke or prod puts the pillow into the perfect position for me and that's it. I usually start sleeping on my side and end up on my back then on my side again. Don't know how the pillow does it but it seems to adapt perfectly every time I move. The pillows are very firm so not for those who prefer something softer but they were kind on my ears - I found the microbead pillow very painful for quite a few weeks.The pillow stays cool throughout the night - after memory foam and microbeads this is a real bonus. I have quite severe neck pain and I find the pillow really makes a difference and I would not go back to a microbead pillow now I have bought these.I thought the price for the two pillows was reasonable and delivery was earlier than promised

It didn't give me a crook in the neck. It's good quality, you can shape it, which is all good BUT I find it extremely hard! As your head rests on the pillow, there is no give in it at all what-so-ever. It feels like your head is resting on a really hard surface. This is not a luxurious pillow, far from it! It is an upgrade from a concrete pillow. Unfortunately, I cant sleep on it and now I have two more pillows to add to landfill! Not impressed!

Seems well made, used for a few weeks or months if I recall, but gave me a sore neck. Aired outside for quite a while and it developed a bad smell. When I emptied the cases of buckwheat to clean them, there was a fair amount of dust inside. Not recommended.

I do sleep much better since I have had this pillow, and have fewer problems with my neck (I have arthritis in my spine). However I have deducted one star for the following reasons:1) Really I only needed one, not two, but for some reason I couldn't find that option. Maybe that was just me being daft, but some customers are daft, so it would be nice if things were made easy.2) Buckwheat smells funny. I have got used to it now, but it bothered me at first.

What an unusual pillow!This is what my head, neck & shoulders have been crying out for since a bad whiplash injury many years ago came back to haunt me.Initially the pillow feels hard but the weight of your head creates the hollow it needs & at the same time offers incredible support neck & shoulders.Took a bit of getting used to but it’s only been 3 nights & I’ve woken with less stiffness each morning. All the buckwheat husks move & settle where they need to be for maximum support. It really feels as if everything is being realigned in my neck & the relief is palpable.A considered purchase but worth ever penny in my estimation.I bought a 2 pack & the other pillow is ideal for back support if sitting for for long periods at the computer.Delivery was express with a lovely personal message from the supplier during the process. The whole experience was everything mail order should be.Many thanks to all concerned.

Love these pillows. Took time to adjust to them but well worth it.
